Pep out. There I said it.
Who comes in then? You can't just call for the current manager to get the sack without providing at least some alternative that is either available now or can be poached from their current position.

I have no problem with us being also rans for a season.

My concerns relate more to our relegation form since October, our frequent tendency to collapse against even very poor sides like Feyenoord and United, our continued vulnerability to counter attacks, the unwillingness to adopt our tactics to the current situation and the lack of any defensive solidity.

The lack of any apparent reaction from the players is actually another issue which concerns me. Probably one of the most concerning elements actually.
The collapsing is inexcusable.

Ten Hag is available...

I would sack a lot of the board now. They have fooked city & pep with such poor planning & his legacy will be tarnished by this.

I will be amazed if he doesn’t go by end of season.

Such stupidity on a business level to allow this to occur
Pep himself has said Txiki came to him in the summer suggesting that we refresh the squad. Pep said no because he trusted his old guys. It's nobody's "fault" exactly, just a gamble that didn't pay off. No need for all this hyperbole imo.

The board should protect the club & long term. Pep should not have that power for me. I wouldn’t put it past pep saying this to protect his m8 either sadly

What you going on about, do you really want him out, surely not.
Please show me in any of my comments where I even hint that I want him out?

Just because people call out our poor shows after games this season, doesn't necessarily mean people want him gone.

He just keeps playing the same way week in week out. We get away with it against the Ipswich of the world but as soon as a well organised side pitches up, he gets found out.

We are so easy to play against this season. Wide open on transitions and hardly create decent chances anymore. Whilst opponents continue to outplay us.

And all that will be remembered forever. But what also will be remembered is our absolute woeful shit show of a season this season.

Yes he changed the game in England - massively. And it looks like he needs to change it again!!

We are not 14th!

Being in top 4 AFTER winning the league 4 times in a row is hardly a season that will be talked about as much as you think.

Ferguson had embarrassing seasons in the CL, finishing in a weak group after Basel and going out already in December. The important and defining things is how much you win, not whether you have a poor season after 4 great seasons. Perspective.

You ose 5 1 it's a bad day for the coach, he must be fucking fuming at akanji and Phil. Not to mention the collapse in mentality of some of the others.

But you said the board fucked Pep over.
They have by not signing & planning for players. The fact we still have no dm is beyond madness. We have had no plan for 2 seasons it seems. I would even take a post it note with names on in somebody’s desk. Rodri was calling it out last season saying he’s fooked but we still did nothing

I wrote after Rodri's injury that our chances to win something big this season were small, already before the crisis in November and December. It's in the title hunt (?) thread.
Yes fair enough and that's understandable. There's been a few who've declared the downturn was always going to happen, but are only saying it now after it's occured.

I'm asking you do you want him out, because it sure seems like you do. But if you are saying you don't, then I apologise.

if Real tie ends with a humiliating result that will hurt Pep more than any crazy PL result. we bossed Real even last season when we lost on pens only, and we bossed them for large part of the tie before the treble season when we won at home and we conceded those late goals from Rodrygo which saved it to extra time for them.

of course we were so much better than now in those seasons.

but if there is a scoreline of 3-0, 4-1, 5-2, 5-1 loss or some even worse in any of the two legs, thats gonna hit Pep 5 times harder than the awful Spurs 4-0 loss or this 5-1 loss vs Arse.

we need to keep it somehow a close tie even if we are out of CL.

its just hard to imagine what will be when we didnt like to play vs a Trossard, Havertz, MArtinelli front three, and none of these would get into the Real front three.

He looks so frustrated on the side lines, which could mean the players are just not doing what he’s instructed them to do, which is good because the one thing you know about Arsenal is that they start fast with a high energy press from the front 5 so the last thing you want to do is play the ball around riskily between central defenders and goalie. Surely you go long until their energy wears off?
