Today marks two years since my daughter Alice was kidnapped from me and taken to the occupied territories. Two years without news of her or direct contact. It seems like it will never be possible to learn to live with or come to terms with this. Only struggle can save. And justice will come. Not now, but in years.
unnamed MoD staff about the Trump administrationWho did?
It’s got to be tax increases. We’ve committed £3bn annually to Ukraine and looking to increase our own defence spending. To increase it now would mean either tax increases or austerity. Which would you suggest?
I’m pretty sure it was a translation of the tweet from @CTID1977What a complete and utter shitter.
For what it's worth my thoughts and prayers are with you and that one day you will be reunited.
At the very least I hope you find out what happened to her.

I would say militarily the EU could soon sort Russia out
Certainly atm.
He’s right if it were attacked by a major foe with vast military capabilities. As I thought, Sec of Def Boris Pistorius said on stage in Munich today Europe w/o US would need several years to be capable defending Europe on their own.
I would add: in theory!
Europe isn't prepared for that at all and we all can expect debates galore before anything happens. Recruitment of the young European generation? Have fun.
