PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

To the point that if you have the temerity to remind Liverpool fans about it at Anfield these days and are caught doing so, you end up with a 3 year Football Banning Order and a fine. And if you manage to successfully get the 3 year FBO overturned - as happened with my mate when he spent thousands on a decent lawyer - the cuckolds at our own football club still end up banning you from City matches for the next 3 years, order you to undertake an awareness course within 12 months of the "offence" if you want to be allowed back into our stadium when your ban is up, and tell you to apologies to a Liverpool supporters group for daring to call them murderers.

Meanwhile, despite all the CCTV in our stadium the **** who scarred a 15 year-old female City fan for life when he chucked that pint pot full of coins down onto her still hasn't been arrested.

I hope he includes all of that in his apology ;)

Woah! Sounds like another one who believes his opinions are facts.

And poor old liverpool, quick get the candles out for them to be able to grieve the times when the "beautiful competitive balance" was swung in their favour with a moneybags owner.
Apparently Arsenal are a non-Gulf club but their biggest sponsor is the Emirates airline from the UAE. Totally bizarre and dishonest article.

That's the point. He states there is an intention to work with no rules to continue to enable fraudulent commercial deals.

I spoke to City the other week when Sherwood said on Sky that we don't play by the rules and they had to issue an on-air apology.
Surely not even Daily Mail readers could take “the Premier League’s beautiful competitive balance” seriously?

The club can't give a running commentary on cases where there's a duty of confidentiality but I do agree that they could have been more aggressive about some of the absolute lies and drivel in the media where that duty doesn't apply.

So a public statement rebutting that Wallace article, saying unequivocally that we've never challenged the basic notion of financial regulation or the PSR/FFP framework as whole, would stop the nonsense being repeated. And if anyone did repeat it, then we could take them straight to court.

The people who watch and listen , then believe the media garbage are really not worth the effort.
If Wallace and others were attacked by the club, even removed, the Editors and owners would easily replace them.
So unless the club can successfully silence the publications there is no point.
As we have seen any litigation brought by the club will be spun in a negative way.
I am sure the issues are discussed at the highest level, and apart from appeasing sections of the fanbase, little would be achieved.
I understand that, but I also acknowledge it is not the standard view of Bluemoon posters.

Do any of these hacks still turn up at city for games, like this twat Herbert will he for instance be at the ground for Sunday’s game, well if he is the club can’t be held responsible if something happens to the fucker ..
Ive said it before and i will say it again, someone is going to get physical with one of these journos or neville and carragher and they will have no one to blame but themselves, you simply cannot go around denigrating, insulting and criticising something which alot of people hold very close to their heart and some instances only a small step down from their family and expect their to be no repercussions or consequences, if you are a journalist it is your job to report on events and facts not give your opinion, i neither know nor care what ian herbert thinks about city and he should keep his opinions to himself because when he gets a smack in the mouth for his blatant lies and criticism he will have nobody to blame but himself.

I've said before that Conn hasn't written about us for a few years, despite the PL charges and the APT hearings. I doubt that's accidental. I'd like to think we've had a stern word, possibly even taken legal action.

I have no problem with journalists criticising us but I do have a problem in them slandering us, and there are remedies for that. Herbert has just repeated Wallace's article, so it's not even an original thought, but neither has any basis in truth and if we let them go then we deserve everything we get.

Even if we do something privately that's not enough. It's about time we made an example of someone, and publicly.

Violence is never the answer and gives them more publicity and clicks.....what will really hurt these scumbag journalists is City being cleared of the allegations.

After 5 years of their lies, sensationalism plus being a spokesman/mouthpiece for the Cartel what else are they going to be able to write about and who is going to reward them financially !!

for me at this point it just goes beyond football, its about time these journalists are brought in line and started to realise that their opinion is not in fact news and their job is to inform people about events they werent present for and not to give their opinion on said events as though they were any way qualified to do so.

I get why you would say and it is a noble thing to say but quite simply sometimes a lesson can only be taught through sheer force as unpalatable as that may be.
