Hugo Larsson

This guy doesn't really impress me that much.

I'm quite happy with tall defensive midfielders in the squad (Rodri, Nico G., Nico O.)

If we get another, I'd like a player who is likely shorter and better at ball control with more technical quality like D Silva.

Larsson is doing really well at Hamburg as stats prove. His difficult progressive passes has the 2nd highest success rate. Only beaten by Tah another player I really rate. He is putting the Bayern boys to shame.

We have a very goos relationship with his agent and Frankfurt and he is on our lisf. But then again we are looking at many playerand things might change with Viana.
 
Im not so keen on him. His passing doesnt seem too great, but good defensively.

The image shown above says he has high % success on progrrssive passes, but fails to include that his amount of progressive passes is actually really low for a CDM.

Id like a more mobile 8.

He, while good defensively and has some height to him, lacks that agility we had in prime David, Gundogan or Bernie, who could get by their marker so easily.

As the big tall DM, we have Rodri, Nico (even the other Nico).

This is why I prefer a Camara, Ederson, Bernabe, whoever else somebody has in mind, who are more of that mold.

We need more hard working 8s for Bernie, Gundo and Kova, who are past it.

He is not in the Nico or Rodri mould though, he is a lot mobile than Nico and Rodri. Ederson and Bernabe are also different. If you read his pros and cons here you will get a better understanding of how he plays

He doesn't carry or dribble much at all for a midfielder, he looks exactly like Rodri or Nico.

I don't understand you claiming the opposite, he is also like 6'2 lol.

I'm sure he is a good CDM, but not the profile I personally want for us.

Fair enough I cannot convince everyone :-). You should watch a couple Frankfurt games he might change your mind.
 
Frankfurt are intensifying efforts to sign Larsson’s replacement Lennon Miller.
 
Just been told we have people at Frankfurt match today. It could be of course that they are watching Wirtz as well or both. Also in attendance are people from Arsenal, Liverpool and Real to name a few.
