PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

Couldn't agree more - I remember queuing up for the Gillingham play off final tickets and being told by club stewards coming down the line that we might not get tickets even though we were season ticket holders because the ticket office had been letting the first in the queue have more tickets each than they were entitled to !! Luckily we got them before they ran out but some behind us missed out and yet despite everything we still support the blues through thick and thin.

Queued for hours for that ticket.

I reckon half the joint pain I have now is down to that queue!!
Those were the days ! I was able to join the queue ar 7.00am and was away by 10.00 .The12year old son of a friend, wagged school and joined the queue. He hadn't returned home at 9.00pm so dad rang the police: "did your son go to Maine Road for tickets ?"......He did !.....Well he's probably still in the queue!! Indeed....those were the days to support City ( and Bernie Halford )

Wagged School?
I've convinced myself over the years that it was the same day as the FA Cup Final
Perhaps the queue was so long I didn't get served until the Monday?

Surely it's good news for the PL if one of their members hasn't done anything wrong.
100%

This should be on a media loop and then painted on to a gable end on ANR.

A 'Professional' association plotting to destroy its most successful member in collaboration with a club that's got the debts of a third world country, and a club that's won its title once in its PL history !!

A good Shag sorts out even the most miserable

He put the info out before City put their statement up, I doubt he actually knew before the club though.
I was under the impression that the PL briefed certain journos before delivering the ‘charge sheet’ to City. Can anyone confirm?

Quite.. the media and tribal barmpots who support other teams always seem to miss this very point!

The PL chiefs should be breaking out the French Fancies and dishes of Earl Grey tea while listening to the 'Hallelujah Chorus' should we be completely exonerated..
Then they’ll say:
“We always thought there was nothing in this case, but we had a complaint from a club and we were obliged to follow it up.”
