PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

Is that for the parties to announce the results? Or for the panel to give them the results?

Playing devils advocate, if the panel give the parties the verdict, the parties then decide between them the timing to release that verdict, but presumably the panel will just give it to the parties when it’s ready? Assume the panel don’t particularly give a shit about international breaks, PL meetings etc?
Once City and Pl are given the verdict it will 100% leak within 24 hours. It’s just not feasible for a decision of such massive importance to the media to be kept secret for any length of time.

A leak would be severely damaging to the PL. The verdict could significantly move betting markets on CL qualification or relegation places, for example. And can you imagine Pep sitting through his press conference on Friday knowing the verdict and not giving it away by his mood and body language?

My guess is that City and the PL will be given 24 hours notice that the verdict is imminent. At 8 am the following day they will receive the verdict and a summary of reasons. That summary will be published a few hours later. The detailed report will be released some time later.

Is Burtons clothes shop still going? I’m wondering if I should get an off the shelf suit from there for Burton’s day.
Only online now I believe?

Sadly, snooker can't really be played online, so the demise of Burtons also hit Riley's Snooker Halls, where once there were dozens, there are now only a handful remaining.

They were the days. Riley’s.

I wonder what Joey Burton makes of all this?
