PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

The biggest issue with a ‘guilty’ verdict will be that the cartel supporters will be able to laud it over us. Nothing more, nothing less.

Me, I can handle those jibes as I’m a thick skinned fucker who will just remind them of what I’ve enjoyed. Others will take it personally, and I understand that as well.

We’ll be here for each other, regardless. We just need to keep the faith.
Does anyone seriously believe.
A business man as intelligent as our owner .
And our chairman are daft enough to have done what we are accused of.
Fuck me our owner is one of the most powerful people in the world.
And the chairman isn't daft..let's trust what they say..we will all find out soon enough.
Keep the faith..they can't take away what we have seen .

What is certain, is this fanbase has really reached the end of its tether now , off pitch has taken president of on the pitch , for me , top five is the goal , but this is really lingering now , and it’s really clear now that we have all had enough of this, never ever seen so much bickering with the fans of this club before.
Soon be over blues.
It's almost been a breath of fresh to have 2 weeks of being in this thread & not having posters slagging City players off, especially when those players have given everything to the club

100% agree with this. I find the narrative amongst sections of the fanbase that it doesn't really matter crazy. It absolutely invalidates the last 17ish years. Sure, they can never take the memories away but those memories are undeniably tarnished. Plus, whilst I don't really care what opposition fans think, we can never have the conversation about Pep's City being the greatest team in English history as it will be immediately batted away by anyone with those 3 digits. It would be absolutely disastrous for the club and personally, I don't think I could continue supporting the club whilst the board who hypothetically committed the deceit were still involved.
I don’t think I would find it deceitful at all. All it would do is prove that the only way for any other club to win anything at all other than the red ones is by being forced to circumnavigate rules which we know are specifically designed to monopolise the game.

It would be the death knell for any club with any ambitions to win anything at all. The end of being able to watch the sport and team I love knowing that in the end the same thing with the same teams will happen every year.

I will be happy with the club and its executives whatever this kangaroo court finds for or against them. They’ve made Man City the greatest FOOTBALL team any English fan has ever seen and in the end it’s always been about 22 players on a pitch and seeing who is the best not about how they got there.

In what way, fella? Why is it important? I am genuinely interested why you think it's so important (and other people, for that matter).
I can understand if people were getting laid off, because we were relegated. That has a real impact on a normal person's life.
But, as for having any impact on my life or the love of my club, this decision will make absolutely no difference.
It Really would tho because all the trophies we've won, you would never be able to brag about them EVER! & the club would be stained forever, I get it, fans saying they don't care it won't change how they support the club, but would you really want "cheats" written into the history of our beloved club? Because that could never be erased, anyway, I believe in what Khaldoon stated, WE AINT LOSING SHIT!!! we won at CAS, Won regarding the APT rules & unlike on the pitch right now, we're on one of those powerful winning runs :-) we can't lose, we just can't

Football stress is real.

Doesn’t compare to the fucking stress these charges have caused.

Certain clubs have tried every dirty trick in the book to diminish our fully deserved trophies and achievements.

The teams behind this have used city to fraudulently and blatantly con their own supporters.

Spurs- pretend to be a football club.
Rags - Commercial entity.
Dips- Bitter and for a long time league losers.
Arse - Top 4 and league pretenders.
Chavs can get a pass for being a bit of a basket case and not wanted anyway.

As long as the attention is on us, the fans won’t notice those clubs sticking it up their arseholes while rinsing them with a loyalty smile.

Fraud? Good one.

Exactly.
A rag sid to me the other day what's happened to that club of yours..when I informed him those players had given everything.
There's a reason no team has won 4 in a row before..because it fucking kills the players.
I know I get mad at kev cos he can't run..but he can't run because he's given everything he had.
And a bit more

Fair enough mate, but...

What if all the things we have won were taken away and given to other clubs like Liverpool, would that not effect you?

And how would I explain to my 7 year old mad City fan grandson that we didn't win it fairly so it's been taken away and we're no longer in the PL.

What if hundreds lost their jobs at City.

The implications are massive I don't see how it would make no difference to you having your beloved club forever tarnished and ridiculed by fans of every other club, forever labelled 'cheats'

If our owners and board have broken the rules in a massive way it will completely devastate me, bringing my beloved club which I have supported for 60 years into disrepute.

If it does go to shit, we lose and we have to go through the wringer, and the pain of losing players, managers, relegations and our reputation being tarnished.

The fight and the journey over multiple years to get back to the top again will be much sweeter than just consolidating our current position.
Although I would be flabbergasted if we lose the major charges, it will be a fight to save our club if that happens. I remember Swindon getting relegated to division 2 for financial irregularities & that was before the days of ffp/psr.

The cartel run EPL will more than likely want us expelled & then who knows what league we would end up in as it's not as simple as putting us in the championship & the rags would probably get the Etihad for free

It’s all very sinister mate , hundreds of jobs are on the line with this , if only our accusers could see the devastating effect on the wider community associated with the club. I mean really ? They want to put hundreds of people out of work? Are they fucking insane ? And the PL and the poison that the press are, can justify such a catastrophic effect on the club and the wider community. It’s nothing more than corrupt , and I’ll be honest , I’m fucking done with football if that is even 5% acceptable. Football is dead mate, and it is.
Is scruffy Jim advising the EPL

Your spot on with that assessment but this thread has been similar to school half term over the last 2 weeks.

I’ve been taking photos of dogs eggs for years , I had one of those insta Kodak cameras , you remember those? The trick , was, to watch the dog arch its back , a sure sign that a plop was on its way , they do that “I’m ready for a shit dance” don’t they? I’ve had years of practice believe me , I’ve scraped many a shite off my living room floor .
It all depends on the dogs diet as to how hard it is to get up.
I find that “complete pigs offal” is by far the best diet for photographic easiness.
I’m sure you have your favourites yourself ?
Pics?

You know the rules.

America gained independence from Britain in the late 1700’s after the Revolutionary War. Britain was hoping to extend its empire across the Atlantic Ocean, but the colonists who settled the territory did not want to be under Britain’s control, with their various taxes and regulations. Both sides were very passionate about their position on the issue, so a war occurred. This war featured a few heroes, including George Washington and Paul Revere. George Washington became America’s first president when we gained independence.

I am not sure what happened to Paul Revere. The Declaration of Independence was written before the war by Thomas Jefferson in 1776 and made clear the position of the colonists. It was signed by many important people, including Ben Franklin and John Hancock. Ben Franklin is well-known for many things. One of these is inventing electrical conductors in the form of lightning rods. A famous tale is that he flew a kite with a small piece of metal somewhere on the string during a lightning storm.

This was an effective way to test his theory. Another thing Ben Franklin is known for is publishing Poor Richards Almanac. This was like a magazine and contained some of his famous writings and quotations. One famous quote was “Tell me, I forget. Teach me, I remember. Involve me, I learn.” Maybe this had something to do with why he flew that kite.
