PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

Yet to chat shit, least Stefan talks sense in an unbiased way, can't understand the pile on tbh, without his knowledge on Talksport we'd have no one talking sense, just guilty guilty guilty, give the lad a break everyone or he may never post here again & he'd be a massive loss to this forum
That was in no way aimed at stefan, i hold contempt for that station as a general rule and it represents everything that is bad about football

Unbelievable, or what?! You're correct to laugh at this kind of stuff.. it's what we've been putting up with for 15+ years..

It's basically saying that 'paint' is, in this instance, playing the role of all the tribal internet barmpots who've posted crazed, hyperbolic, deranged stuff about us/115 ever since 2008 and who cannot accept the counter arguments offered by such as Stefan and others which are reasoned, factually based and rational. And that's even within the context of a discussion about such legal matters, let alone the much more difficult process of making of a decision on them.

The more I see of this world (especially through my FOC eyes!), the more Orwellian it becomes.. 'Four legs good, two legs bad' and all that.. One can only admire Stefan et al for patiently trying to explain these things we've had to put up with, while all the time no doubt wanting to tell the media and the internet barmpots to 'get a life'..!

And I tell you, if Sir Tim Berners-Lee actually was in his grave right now, he'd definitely be rolling in it, regretting his decision ever to develop the Interweb-Thingy, if only to prevent herberts like this 'fitness' wallah obtaining access to using it..
Not convinced Coventry was laughing for the same reason you were

Just thinking - If city were going to be found guilty in the next while - why would be actively getting sponsorships with viagogo and other companies? Shit for the fans, but also a sign that we could well be fine.

I don’t think I’ve ever seen a person interrupt themselves as much as Jamie Jackson in this video. Stefan is quite a contrast.
Jackson's performance was a typical journalist ,snide , vindictive ,biased when hiding behind a keyboard , but when it comes to speaking face to face with the opponent he could not back up his written stuff with proper verbal conversation.Just look at how he was sat with hand over his face and always having to take a drink and stuttering and stammering over everything he was saying .Whereas Stefan was speaking so well without taking a break let alone a drink.Talking sense with FACTS Stefan certainly handed Jackson his arse on a silver platter

Yep. The kid did good.

I didn't watch it but I have never thought of JJ as a hostile journalist. His work has always focused on Man Utd because historically they were the bigger more successful club.

You also have to allow for the fact that Stefan is an expert whereas Jamie is a journalist whose main asset is the ability to research and establish contacts in the game. I think we should try to be fair and not hate on journalists per se because we are under the spotlight. Some journalists presumably went into the field because they like asking questions and like writing. That's no bad thing. Unfortunately many just opt for the easy life and question and target what is commercially most productive.

@slbsn thank you for not giving up on this place mate, I probably would have in your position. Some people on here are either irrational, jealous, angry or a combination of the three and as you say, it's tiresome.
I very much agree with that sentiment.
I see Stefan as a fan like the rest of us, and just like the rest of us, when people speak tripe about us he gets upset.
The main difference between Stefan and the rest of us, for me, is that Stefan has the background and wherewithal to be able to take on the tripe merchants.
He is fortunate to have the platform (through his own hard work admittedly) to put his views and we're fortunate to have someone literate fighting our corner publicly.
Imo part of the reason his opinion carries weight publicly is because he presents a balanced view rather than a rabidly City view.
If it was me in Stefan's position I'd fall into so many traps and just look a bias fool.

Disgraceful remark, completely out if order. The anti Arab narrative at the Guardian is clear, obvious and explicit.
It looks pretty clear that Coventry read it as something about Conn and Schindler's religion as I did. Why the Guardian is relevant to Colin Schindler is not understood by me. But if you say that is not the case, fair enough I will delete.

Jackson is a top rank City hater. Dig out a few of his articles or indeed read the discussion of them on here to educate yourself..
