Last Film You Saw

One of very few movies that I turned off. I just couldn't take the glorified horrible cruelty.

If it wasn't meant to be true I might have handled it but to think that real people's lives/deaths were being exploited so blatantly by the film makers to make a buck was just too much for me.

There's horror and then there's horror.
Grow up you wet wipe. That is one of the most cringe posts I've ever seen on a forum, you need to behave.

Most of it was fiction mate.

If anyone wanted 'factual' watch The Snowtown murders. Or the TV series about Brady and Hindley.

Now those were horrible.

The Blob (1988)

Just so much fun, special effects are still amazing, some absolutely horrific kills and the late 80s vibe all adds to a brilliant film.

8.5/10

The Vanishing

3 guys in a lighthouse on an island, very good, really enjoyed it.

No cgi, explosions, shoot outs, tense drama.

Do they argue over who is doing the pots after a light fish supper only to fall out and kill each other when a muffin goes missing and Ahab blames a seagull?

Just watching the Bourne Identity ( think it's "identity"; the EPG says "Ready Player One"!). Christ, Matt Damon looked really young back then (he's never looked old, to be honest). But he doesn't even look his age back then (32).

Watching a good one set in ww2 and directed by Steven mcQueen called Blitz that slipped under the radar. Saorise ronan does a bloody good English accent and Paul weller in a supporting role. Also stars Stephen Graham and Kathy Burke.

Flight risk.
Awful. So many plot holes it's almost taking the piss.
Wahlburgs character is seemingly immortal.
If you get shot by a magnesium flare at close range, a fire extinguisher isn't saving you.
I almost expected him to come back to life at the end, such was the ridiculous nature of the plot.
Don't bother.

Very poor film. I bothered and regretted it. I watched it through to the end, mainly to see how fucking ridiculous the “plot” could become - I wasn’t disappointed.

Watched The Last Breath last night on fire stick. Starring Woody Harrelson and Simu Liu about a North Sea diver marooned underwater without oxygen for a long period of time. Based on a true story based on a documentary of the same name. Not for claustrophobics.

Pretty good overall
