One right back - we don’t have a recognised right back this is a position we need to fill

Two midfielders- treble season we had Gundo and Kev feeding Haaland, we need Wirtz and another so we get that dynamic again.

Then depending on departures we replace those leaving with new players in their position.

I also think Bah takes a position in the squad next season as he’s having a Saliba type season in ligue un. They are raving about him.

Agreed. While impressive, he's been playing as the central defender alongside two other CBs (in a back 5), which provides him with additional protection. So difficult to judge.

Though he is a beast and if he continues to perform I can't see him spending more than another season out on loan.

So im being optimistic that he can be a good replacement like Khusanov is.

Don’t really think Kudus nor De Jong are close stylistically to De Bruyne at all.

Obviously Wirtz out of those 4. Other than that it would be Baena for me or Rayan Cherki.

Nothing against Kenan Yildiz but looking at these slow Serie a defenders and also watching his highlights I feel like he would flop here. He is a nice humble guy ( met him myself) but his future lies in the middle and we already have someone like Marmoush and potentially Wirtz there . Echeverri and Foden exist too.

I think he is improved version of Grealish

He can replace KDB with different set of qualities

And can play LW and add a real goal threat


My dream midfield next season will be Rodri with Wirtz & Yildiz ahead of him

Evan N'Dicka from Roma? Still young, 25, LB, can play CB, if necessary, he's tough and aggressive and has some pace in his game.

And if I'm honest, the opportunities for songs and chants using N'Dicka appeals to me. :)

There are certain obvious choices like Kerkez and Vanderson but we obviously won’t go for the obvious ones and buy someone out of nowhere who might end up like Philips or Nunes because they couldn’t invert , 4 positions at the same time or doesn’t have the la Pausa ability as a winger.
The fact that we are obviously going to lose out on Wirtz and/ or Cherki makes me sad already .
