CFG | Academy | EDS in & out season 2024/25

I am a regular watcher of academy games & have been since the days of Denis Leman, John Gannon & John Clay etc etc & never in a million years would I have predicted that Morgan Rogers would become the player he is now. He was very underwhelming at youth level. At the time he was on competition for the left wing spot with Jayden Braaf. Of the 2 Braaf was the one who looked like he would become a genuine world class superstar. I've checked on Google were Braaf is now. He is playing for Salertinana in series A in Italy on loan from Hellas Verona. He's previously had loan spells with Dortmund & Fortuna Sittard so his career has gone in the opposite direction to Rogers. It just shows you can't always say with 100 per cent accuracy who will likely make the grade from youth team to top level players.
Pep said he knew Rogers would be good.

It was baffling. I just remember him standing out on the wing maybe have the odd wayward shot. Only thing I can think is he was told to provide the width then he found a niche powering through midfield.

Nor did any of the hindsight experts when he went.

Interested who people think should have been dropped for a kid with two underwhelming loans
He was no way near Palmer, McAtee or Delap at that time.

Fair play to him for believing in his ability and getting to where he has. Clearly has a great mentality and comes across intelligently in his interviews.

Why aren't PSG keeping him?

I'm not on twitter anymore so I'm spared the comments thankfully. Facebook is getting as bad too. I'll have a look at that later cheers.

Looks talented but maybe a CFG signing? I imagine he'll go into the EDS or straight on loan. Different skillset but doesn't look like an improvement on Mubama, Oboavwoduo or Warhurst.

Is there any truth in the story that Pep has decided to send Khusanov out on loan next year and that Khusanov has told him to shove it?

Just looked at Montevideo City last few home games, less than a 1000 turning up in a 60k stadium.

Mumbai City got just over a 1000 for the last home game, dont understand how these 2 clubs work at all, must cost a fortune to run.

Got the crowd numbers off Flashscore so might not be correct.
