Again with the name calling because you cannot defend your nonsense with any kind of context.
I've given you the context. This season doesn't exist in a vacuum it exists as part of a wider arc of the squad. The squad (and the manager) won the title last season with 91 points. That was their 4th title on the bounce. Ergo, less than a year ago the manager was in charge of doing something that had previously never been done.
You have completely made up we will finish 3rd or 4th? Your argument is based on guesswork. Your argument is based on zero criticism based off past performance.
I haven't made it up. It is based on our remaining fixtures in comparison to the other clubs fighting for those positions. It's not even a particularly ambitious prediction. Seems fairly sensible.
If in your opinion it doesn't matter what he does, where we finish, whatever the downfall because of that then fill your boots. You can give your undying loyalty but my guess would be if we encounter another season like this one, we will have a new man in charge.
I didn't say nothing matters. I said that Guardiola has set the standards you are talking about. Only an idiot thinks that going from winning the title to finishing in the top 4 is a "downfall". In terms of undying loyalty, Guardiola has earned it more than any man that has managed our club. If you think that Khaldoon and co would sack Pep if we finish 4th again next season it shows just how little you know or understand about the people you're talking about.
I am not comparing it to standards he set, as a club we have standards and we will want to continually build and progress. Drop offs can happen, my whole point was how the best manager in the world could surely get more from this group, with 150m or so spent on it in January to boot too.
Are you suggesting that injuries and age have played no part in our problems this season? Because again, that's just stupid.
With the team we have, extra investment made in January and the manager we have, performance wise I believe we can offer more. Shoot me
I don't need to shoot you. I'm just going to stick you on my ignore list as you've added almost nothing of value to this conversation. I've had plenty of conversations with people who have been critical of decisions Pep has made this season and found myself agreeing with them. I've criticised Pep this season for decisions he's made. However in none of those instances did I need to be a bellend and compare him to Jose or Wenger, or did I need to suggest he was finished, or did I need to reference the amount of money the club spent in January.
