Seat Counters - 2024/25

The match day buses is a start.

No good for me but good for many.

My mate swears by it from Wythenshawe.
There aren't enough buses and there aren't enough trams. We need a mixture of public and private transport and we don't need fuckwits on the local council introducing no parking zones on non-residential streets. Stop parking outside houses by all means, but it just screws things up when parking is banned outside closed factories and commercial premises.

Shame we can't give those blocks that are not on sale to Forest. There are still plenty of cheaper seats available in our end for any late sales this week. Would rather see them in it than blocks of empty seats.
Those empty blocks are in the 5th level and contain the £45 seats. If we gave them to Forest, then there will be a small supply of £45 seats for City fans.

Only Bury’s attendance from that entire list was from Good Friday.
He’s right, you’re just cherry picking the attendances which is a shame because the point you’re making is valid but the politician like way you’ve used the numbers is not.

For example, and you obviously know this, but the Stalybridge attendance was for a Boxing Day derby v Mossley.
Curzon was against Mansfield and that was where nearly all the support came from. They’ve only popped over a thousand once before this season and that was against Chester, another well supported team.
Ashton Utd was against FC United on New Year’s Day.
Wythenshawe was against Wythenshawe Town, again on Boxing Day.
Rochdale was against…….Oldham Athletic..

True but still a lot of £30/£45 seats in our end that don't seem to be moving. Would be amazed if they go this week along with the dearer tickets.
Not a chance..I would be surprised we manage to sell 1k this week tbh..and if we did, were looking at 28k..how fxxking embarrassing

How many times? It’s Wembley again. 28,000 making the 400 mile round trip. Nothing to be embarrassed about. The game shouldn’t be held there, it’s as simple as that.

You can say it as many times as you like, lol,I will still disagree, it's apathy...140k+matchday members and we are struggling to get to 28kbsales EMBARRASSING

Late and overnight rail travel is virtually a thing of the past in the UK.

Linked to the loss of mail and newspaper trains from rail which would see trains going all over with a mix of passenger coaches and mail vans. Not the only reason but a factor.

It's a backwards step really because it means everyone and everything is now on the roads.

Not being able to get from Manchester to London or return after about 2100 is pathetic.
Fuck pricey, unreliably staffed (greedy twats) rail travel and get yourself on a coach or drive yourself

Well people have their reasons and I'm not going to criticise anyone for not going, our support overseas and with kids here has increased massively but our support and particularly those who attend is actually less than it was pre-c0vid, the capacity was reduced by 1000 or so and there were a lot less non sell outs back then. Out support generally is STILL GM based, there are blues scattered about the country granted but I'd argue our reach is less than comparable clubs such as Everton, Newcastle, Villa etc, Everton have swathes of fans in North Wales and probably have more support in places like St Helen's, Warrington etc than us which are more or less half way between the two cities, Newcastle have fans up to the Scottish Borders , down into Durham and out west past Hexham, Villa have plenty of fans outside Birmingham who go on places like Staffordshire, Worcestershire and even on the edge of Gloucestershire. The 10 year olds in the Aquero era would be 23 now but the club decided that some overseas fan who might come once a season are more important than local support, a lot of this is down to the club solely. Our support in the UK has not expanded to the levels you would expect with the huge success, my belief and it might be crap is that 115 and the bile from the media hasn't helped matters. That stand should have been built 5 or 6 years ago when we were at our peak, they should have been working their nuts off to bring back lapsed fans and getting every kid under 12 to actively support their club, that horse has now bolted and if we don't get back to those levels of success having a 61000 plus capacity might prove to be complete folly.

No passion, simple as that

Have you ever thought it may be that fans have just had enough of football clubs and authorities taking the piss constantly squeezing more and more money out of fans, shit KO times and their general apathy towards local fan bases? I have still got my ST’s and have been going 45 years but frankly I’m getting a bit tired of it all. If that means some fans think I have ‘no passion’ then thats fine. Also many people on here are probably struggling financially; yes some tickets are reasonable but they probably can’t afford these regular trips to London when you factor all spending money.
