PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

Why have Chelsea not been examined yet even though they have admitted that there was dodgy dealings before the yanks took over the club. We were told they would be bang to rights, nothing has happened with regards to an investigation.

Because they are admitting it all while negotiating deals with the Premier, but the facts are in what that club does: pay certain players of the books to get their signature to stop other teams getting them. They should be getting massive points deductions! Also, them taking months to acknowledge selling the hotels to themselves when in the rules it should take around ten days max! It tells you all you need to know about the people who run the Premier. Weak as fuck when it's any other team, but when it comes to Man City it's full-on assault!

Possibly there is some negotiating going on between City and the prem on as to how the story is managed and released ? The Prem will want everything to be low key and just fade away if they come out of this badly , City will be keen to get the full complete story out there to show the world their innocence, unfortunately we still need to play in the prem league. I would love the prem to be razed to the ground by this, but fear there will be some half way house compromise to allow the prem to have some dignity in defeat, Khaldoon and Mansour are masters of negotiating and will probably get a result that satisfys them and City's needs and wants, just not sure we the fans will feel as satisfied, after all we want blood and prem league bodies piled against the wall with a load of scandal and wrong doing !!!
Change the management and put Khaldoon in charge.
Sorted!

Hasn't @slbsn stated previously sometimes outcomes can be agreed to be released for commercial reasons for example to release a verdict during international week so it doesn't interrupt or less interruption on the Premier League game week.
Could there be possibility that UEFA and FIFA could have put pressure on not to release before champions league final and club World Cup so both comps get full football exposure and commercially get full exposure before the bomb drops with 115.

I'll tell you what's going through my suspicious mind currently. That the outcome is known and has been for a couple of months. I've said this before and I'm standing by that (until I'm told otherwise). There was too much noise around March time for there not to be some smoke, even if the fire didn't catch hold.

When you read that MEN piece Link (and maybe I'm reading it wrong or with confirmation bias) there's a couple of things that stand out. The first is this phrase -
"it has now been five without a published result". Note that word 'published'. To me that implies there has been a result but it hasn't yet been published. The other thing is Khaldoon's tone, which is "be patient, it's coming". The impression I get from that is he knows the result but things just have to take their course. But what is that course?

I'm going to speculate that this outcome is so bad for one or more parties that they are finished.

For the party most obviously at risk, his employer may have been quietly head-hunting his successor, who might have to be more experienced at crisis-management than marketing. Another party who may be at risk is involved with a club that's had, for them, a successful season by winning a trophy at the end of the season and they didn't want anything to detract from that. Maybe it suits us to wait until the CWC is done and dusted, as we don't want any distractions before then.

As I said, this is pure speculation but could explain the situation.

It would be more of a shock to the Club's Executive if the decision did go against us.

There has always been supreme confidence, even behind the scenes, simply because we have provided concrete evidence to all the questions.

I stopped worrying about it ages ago and expect it to drop when I can't spend my day giving it back to thousands of these twunts.

It's such a bodywork of evidence to process and write-up, thousands of pages to make legible for the masses.

Must be a massive operation. I'm certain Khaldoon has already had the debrief from Pannick and we should all be celebrating in the coming days.
"Coming days" could end up being many weeks, months....

Yep, I've said as much all along.

Surely the PL should be made to provide evidence that every other club in the league has been subject to the same level of scrutiny and investigation into every aspect of their finances as City have been subject to.

Without such proof then surely the PL are guilty of unfair and discriminatory business practices against City and are wide open for a lawsuit to be filed against them?

That's my view as well. I don't understand why other clubs aren't investigated as much as City.
Seems bizarre that some knobhead can hack our emails, than cut n paste and the pl act on that.

When he’s canned by the PL he will be unemployable in the game especially if some of the shenanigans come out in the aftermath.

You say that but those with connections….. I once sacked the son of someone in the establishment for untold fraud and drug offences in a major institution. My feelings at the time were he’s fucked for life. A few months ago I looked him up - he has untold director and chairmanships. Sometimes shit just keeps rising to the top.

Just maybe that sacking was a wake up call, and a lesson well learned.
