PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

If we win, we don't want to complain about the PL and destroy it. We need to be only be complaining about the forensic analysis of our accounts and workings, and that other clubs are not examined to the same extent.

We need to be shouting that we are the most examined club ever, with nothing wrong found, and that other clubs have not been looked at.

We need to change the narrative so that questions start being asked of other clubs.
The feet dragging with the process has been partly too allow the ref shirts time to cover their own tracks

The PL needs to go back through the accounts of all those clubs that had illegal interest free director loans all they back to 2009 like they have done with City. The loans need to recalculated against psr and what ever losses were made during this period need a sanction if they are over the three year loss rule.

Trouble is the PL won’t as all hell will break lose as they don’t want it highlighting that they implemented illegal rules and told clubs they were ok to operate in this manner. This is where City have pushed the Premier League to checkmate, if they try to sanction City they have to sanction everyone else.

I'm not mad! and I have a certificate to prove it!
:-)

I don't think that there is any doubt that if we have won, we have the capacity to destroy the structures of the league and create havoc for several clubs. We won't, but we will have immense future power.

An emergency cash injection from co-owners Sir Jim Ratcliffe and The Glazer Family can transform fortunes at Old Trafford.
So no rules when it comes to the rags then, we need them watching this summer!
Don't give em a sniff not even a snickers out the vending machine.

I'd agree with this, except I think what you have as third, has always been their main aim. Slow us, cost us money, make us less attractive to investors, and potential signings and fans.

Obviously they'd love to win, but that would be a bonus for them.

Which is why if we do win we need to wrestle back the initiative and point figures, with proof.

Someone's please do a banner that just says "Now investigate the rest". That's what I believe we should push for after the outcome.
Yep, I've said as much all along.

Surely the PL should be made to provide evidence that every other club in the league has been subject to the same level of scrutiny and investigation into every aspect of their finances as City have been subject to.

Without such proof then surely the PL are guilty of unfair and discriminatory business practices against City and are wide open for a lawsuit to be filed against them?

They are, agreed.

But Khaldoon has the power and opportunity to move the needle. He wants to speak, and when he does it will make news, I'm sure of it.

This touches on the idea that the media need suing for things they write that are unproven or just malicious speculation, dressing the garbage they write as opinion pieces shouldn't wash.

It's not like we are even talking about journalists or the freedom of the press because the press is that heavily slanted in favour of whoever pays them now their views are meaningless.

They are totally broken after losing their relegation play off with spurs

I feel a little bit down myself

It's like toying with a dead cat

Now I have an empty space in my life where I used to take the piss out of them

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA HAHA !

They laughed so hard about the tyranny of the majority. When we win, we need to take that and stick it so far down their throats that they choke on it.

I feel like this is going to drag into next season.

I wonder how much pressure city and the PL are putting on the decision being released.
The delay in the report is possibly, having found nothing concrete to punish City on, so that the PL can trawl through other, more recent events, to try and 'get us for something'......
