one of the talking points in the world of football has been Manchester United's post-season tour to Asia, which stood out amongst the calendars of all other Premier League clubs”.

That’s some seriously delusional shite right there.
...as unwise, badly timed , and irrelevant

Red Football Ltd I think

Kieran Maguire “Everybody is looking at the New York company - Manchester United plc but there is another company called Red Football which is owned by the Glazers and that is forming the basis of the PSR calculation.
"The losses at Red Football Ltd are far lower than they are at Manchester United plc so therefore the extent of the damage is far less than originally envisaged."

Nothing to see here….
Plenty to see here.
Plenty of $$$$ !!
...which means , from now on , until the end of the window , and the next window, the price of every Rags transfer target goes up by 20% ! Just watch Brentford dig their heels in for 75M for Mbuemo .

I have no doubt that Scruffy Jim "we're going broke" Ratbag is deliriously happy with the timing of this news

I had the same reply.
Need to work out how to take this to the next level
Not many folk I know were the slightest bit interested in scums tour of Asia
Maybe slimey stone should have made the shorter trip to Greece...and spoke to the authorities there about Harry Maguire, who I believe is still wanted for offences committed a few year back.
Now there's a story which would be of great interest to all football fans .

How Harry hasn't been made to face the music is quite astonishing .

Have to laugh here, a United fan in work is hoping they sign Ronaldo again

They really can't get over that he was good for them 16 years ago.
Sums them up

Apparently Mbeumos "preferred destination" is Man Utd. And Cunha, it seems, always wanted to go to O.T.

What I want to know is - why do these ambitious players want to go to a club that's not even in the Europa Conference nrxt season? Do they lack ambition? Or is it simply the money? In Mbeumo's case, why drop down several places in the PL?

Can anyome solve this conundrum?

We're all wondering how on earth the rags can afford players who cost in the region of £60m each. We're a bit concerned that they are quality players and it ain't fair. Well it ain't! But we know the raggies better than that, and we should be asking the right questions - such as, how much will the poor sods be worth this time next year when Sir Jim has helped turn them into two more high profile flops and has to "move them on". The process is becoming a football axiom - "at most clubs better players make teams stronger: at the swamp the club makes players worse." Every year it is more self-evidently true.
Spot on.

There lies the problem and long may it continue.

"
Manchester United have now released their third-quarter financial statement, which Simon Stone mentioned.

It included a £20m reduction in wages compared to the same point in 2024, part of which is due to a redundancy programme that will eventually see around 450 staff members losing their jobs. That contributed to a small operating profit of £700,000, compared to a loss of £66.2m 12 months ago.

There was also a £2.7m "exceptional costs" payment, which the club say is related to the exits of some senior leaders.

Total revenue for the nine months to 31 March is £502.3m, down just over 3%.

Borrowings, excluding the amount owed in transfer fees, is £691m."

Profit?? really?

Because if you were offered a massive pay rise and had the opportunity to go part time would you consider it.
Just think, no midweek football means more family time, or in some players eyes more trips out on the piss.

You've submitted one before, or were going to, on slimy's Tag Heuer report
How did you get on?

I submitted one on Roan and his slabhead interview and it was batted away with the reason " journalism isn't included in a FOI request"
I never got around to it the end

So basically it turns out that the Glaziers are actually their financial saviours?
Saving them from financial ruin and points deductions?
Ah well, I look forward to the grovelling public apologies from MUST, Neville and them 1958 throbbers
Plus the Moston tribute act will surely have to liquidate their self righteous ego trip?
That joke of a brand, organisation, football club...... whatever their PR crew and media whores profess it to be these days is an abomination.

The financial gymnastics that their peddling is drawing the kind of attention similar to a man walking into an airport with a bomb strapped to his suitcase and a teddy bear under his arm.

If the premier league and UAFA authorities let this blatant shenanigans slide then we've got absolutely nothing to worry about.

I would imagine they'll be a backlash at some point from other premier league CEOs that are restricted by PSR rules if the rags manage to pull off this financial fiasco.

And the players can take it easy on the pitch. Few high pressure must win games and no expectations to win against the big clubs in the Premier league. It's a rather appealing lifestyle.

That's the worrying part of all this, the other clubs CEOs have been brainwashed by the constant party line that they all need a strong utd to keep the sponsors, TV, MSM outlets happy, that keeps revenues rolling in which will keep their own balance sheets healthy so long as they tow the line and never question any unlawful rules.

I would imagine it comes down to the £250,000.00 per week pay cheque.

I find it fascinating that all their (rags) signings come out with the same scripted rhetoric that they've always wanted to play for the club.

I wouldn't be surprised if there is something in the terms of their contract that states the player must mention this during their initial promo interview.

Have you noticed that the newly signed players never mention how excited they are about working with the current manager? That's probably got to do with the fact that its been about twenty eight years since that happened.

Let's face it; that cesspit of a club is hanging on by a thread. It's become a myth which is being proped up by the media spin and held together with smoke and mirrors.
