Yes it's wank. It doesn't work. It's never worked. It's programmed by idiots who don't know what they're doing.Totally and utterly going off track here but is anyone having problems with the City app of late, not doing a thing for me? Cheers

I grew up in Gorton it turned Raggy around the Monastery Brook House Clowes StreetI grew up in Gorton and Levenshulme. Gorton was at least 80% blue, The tight streets around Cross Street were largely skilled Working Class English with only a handful of Irish (and Scots) families though they grew in number as you headed towards Gorton Monastery, West Gorton and Openshaw. Clayton was practically all red. Almost all my Levy mates were Irish decent and amongst the lads who hung around in Johnny’s Cafe were lots of match going Reds maybe 70/30 reds to blues. Religion was never a big deal but loads of Catholic priests had season tickets at Old Trafford in those days !
Some might say that your future looks GrimmArguing about religion is like arguing my fairy tale is more truthful than your fairy tale. Also, the people who fight in the name of religion are just fools who are prepared to kill over a fairy tale. Anyone want to fight Hans Christian Anderson or Enid Blyton;-)
I was born in Gorton in the 40's and grew up there and never met a Catholic till I was in my teens.I know there quite a few Catholics in West Gorton but that's another District. It’s not my analysis,.. I copied it from chatbox GPT having been interested in someone else’s comments regarding the topic, I was simply sharing it for information. I was brought up in the areas you comment on here. Certainly I recall Levenshulme having a strong Irish community, but do not recall the other districts being home to large Irish populations. Are you speaking from personal recollections here ? Are you a Mancunian or is this something you have heard/read? As a former Levenshulme resident I fondly remember pubs like the Wilson pub “The Levenshulme “on Stockport road, being a strong bastion of blues. There were photos of Colin Bell around the pool table. I went to school in Gorton,… Wright Robinson, again, I have to say I do not recall a particular large Irish catholic community there,…Again, where did you get that information from ? I spent a large amount of my youth living in Burnage, I played a lot of football and had friends in Withington. Sorry mate, again I do not recall a large Irish community…Of course there were Irish residents but I’d suggest they did not predominate. Have you made up your comments above or is it from something someone told you ? I would respond by saying I have not exaggerated as you suggest, I have copied a report from the internet and and now reporting personal experience…Theres a difference I’m sure you’ll agree.
Dick :)So much better without the ads.
My screen kept refreshing and refreshing and then deleting the words if I had not finished rambling.
Now I can be an even more insufferable twat.
Big decision on 115…

Haha -:)Dick :)
Hear hearBut can all those involved please start their own thread in Off Topic and take it there?
I take it you're an atheistFucking hell mods can you move this catholic protestant religious shite elsewhere so the rest of us can see the posts calling richard masters a **** without having to read which areas/schools etc favoured which cunting religion?!
In a nutshell. Well said.I always think the funny thing with people telling others that religion is a load of shite and should get in the bin and you shouldnt believe in anything are exactly the same as religious people who tell you that you should believe just from the opposing viewpoint but the ideology is the same.
My take on religion is believe what you want but whatever you believe thats for you and dont try and force it on others.
Another Bowie song that can do that for me is 'Quicksand' on the 'Hunky Dory' album and what an album that is. It's sometimes difficult to choose which is my favourite album, that or '...Ziggy Stardust...'
Eh?Mods,
Can we move this thread to off-topic now?
May need to be split into multiple threads considering the myriad of topics being discussed now not related to original post.
Thanks
