PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

Just to add to the Catholic/protestant thing, in moston cemetery is a memorial to fallen IRA members who manchester police killed in the early 1900s.
No idea if they were city or united fans but it is interesting.
1860s about 100 yards from what would become the Hyde rd stadium, who said we have no history

I always think the funny thing with people telling others that religion is a load of shite and should get in the bin and you shouldnt believe in anything are exactly the same as religious people who tell you that you should believe just from the opposing viewpoint but the ideology is the same.

My take on religion is believe what you want but whatever you believe thats for you and dont try and force it on others.

I didn't say that you shouldn't believe in anything. I said I thought It was a load of make believe shit.
You added the bit about telling other people.

Everyone else can have their own opinions.

Growing up in Belfast in the 80s and 90s, I have never heard of or been aware of this
I'm from Armagh, grew up in the 80/90s and I've never heard of this either. Might have been a thing on Manchester itself historically but united/Liverpool fans dominate both Catholic and Protestant areas in the north of Ireland. Never heard city being called the "protestant team" in my life.

another day off then, only done a full week this year
"As I and others have reported previously, the expectation at City has been 'spring', and if that's the case, we're there now... however it would also mean we could be waiting until late June!
Take the week off!

Originally by ‘The McCoys’, Then ‘The Merseys’ before Bowie did a version on his album of covers…Pin ups. The ‘B’ side was better… Amsterdam
Amsterdam was a Jacques Brell song as was My Death.

They didn't appear on any studio albums, but were performed live during 1972/1973.

You can listen to My Death on the full Official releases, of the bootlegs from Santa Monica 1972, and Hammersmith Odeon 1973. Amsterdam is on the BBC Sessions I seem to remember. Both are dark, moody songs about death and prostitution.

Yes mate, I prefer Bowie’s studio version to Brell’s. We’ll be getting a bollocking discussing this on the ‘Are rags Catholic thread’

Same here, Co. Armagh too and never heard of it.

That's how fucked off I am with this dragging on, I've joined the bullshit tangent conversations
