For more than 50 years I've been saying that the whole lot of them (especially the zealots among their number) should be shipped to an island in the middle of the Pacific so they can have it out with each other 'ad infinitum'. Then, the rest of us can have our world back and get on with enjoying the gift of life.

Mind, I must say my opinion has rather shifted in recent years. I've been thinking that said Pacific island might be better used instead to house anyone and anything involved with the Red Cartel, the PL/UEFA hierarchies and the tribal, client media johnnies that support them in their quest to undermine us. Then the rest of us could get on with enjoying footy without those vested interests and their bully-boy tactics.

The point is that not a lot of good comes out of religion, or people that use religion as a differentiator, I never said, and certainly didn’t intend to infer, that every **** ever was religious

It's not the religion that causes problems. It's the nutters who get into power and bend the beliefs to their own warped ends. Which is what happens with the non religious like Hitler etc

Does Descartes have the proof that everyone is looking for, or is he offering his opinion?

Opinions are all we have because the question can not be answered. And it cannot be answered because a belief system is a chemical reaction in yours, mine, and Descartes brain (when it was working). It is a human response to fear of unknown.
It is an intangible feeling of confused vulnerability that requires an answer, and when an answer can't be found we fill in the blanks with fiction.
Because that is how the brain works and that is how we cope with life. That can be proved to be correct, btw.
Do me a favour, now. Just let it slide. I respect you know your epistemology and cosmology and other ologies, but no matter what, you cannot point me in the direction that is anything other than conjecture or a "feeling".

I have offered my opinion and reason for this opinion. I don't feel I need to submit anything further.
