I took away he was calling the venue/destination a joke rather than the tournamnet ans I agree with him.

At the game against Juve we waited on the concourse until it subsided. It’s rained here in the afternoons for the last 3 days and each time it’s been torrential.

Thunderstorms forecast for most days for the rest of the week. :(

Normally storms have passed through by 6pm, our game is at 9pm tomorrow. Doubt there will be lightning (causing game to be stopped), but we may still get rain.

City are the strangest team in this tournament. We know we are better but we have no idea by how much. I think by the end of the CWC we will have a better idea of where all this is leading.

I was at Palmeiras v Al-Ahly in New Jersey (40 minute delay) and was under cover so wasn't moved but the rest of the stadium including the Ultras behind the goal went onto the concourse.
 
When it done cats and dogs the other day v Juve we just stood there on front row and loved it, so refreshing was the downpour and topped up my ridiculous 41-55 dollar round of 3 pints ha ha. When lightning strikes they want you on concourse but saw no lightning just thunder. Throw whatever you want, we’re City and we ain’t moving.
04-33am just been kb’d by two shops after taking “refreshments” out of the fridges sand being told shut at 2am and can have alcohol after 9am. Enjoy game folks, we’re going all the way. Best get back to hotel CITY CITY CITY……

I love America....can be pissed as a fart by 11am lol.

What a trip you've had, so glad I went out for the Philly game as I have an idea of what its like when watching on TV.

Going to try and get out for the final IF we make it and prices haven't soared but not sure on that or the semi atm.

Might as well give the cup to Arsenal now then. After all they were the better team when they played PSG in the CL.

There really isn[t much of a bigger commitment than those who have follwed City out to this tournament. I can see from the banners there are some. Hats off to every single one of you.
