All things change but as you say the UK media have chosen their side. It’s a shrinking audience as well, as our fan base grows and that creates a dilemma for them. Do they shift their positivity to us and risk alienating the delusional red cartel or do they continue to pamper to them? It’s lose-lose for the media because our fan base will want nothing to do with them. I think the future will be a fragmented landscape where fans seek out their own individual media possibly from within and outside of the UK.
My IPTV allows me to choose the polarized channels in the USA, Fox included as well as Al J. The and Ben so BBC is alright for football results etc but CNN in UK can be compared for news content and Bloomberg for business.
At times I am at a loss to understand why people get upset because a UK media that has picked sides does not give City matters fair coverage. What do they expect from a biased media that instructs its journos to give biased reports to placate it's valued consumers.
Media is in the business of providing biased opinion not here it is make your own mind up.
