Excellent.there just isn't enough canine super heroes given a chance anymore. Looking forward to his scenes with Rex Luther.

I watched really good western recently starring Gareth Bale :) called Hostiles.

The last time I saw a Superman film it was Christopher Reeves, so this one wasn’t anything like I expected it to be, but enjoyed it a lot. Helped by the fact that, this time last year, they were filming it literally outside our window. Our apartment is in the movie.

Brilliant soundtrack from a brilliant band...
Cracking intro! As for the film; it looks dated these days. A film of it's time, you might say. Directed by Russell Mulcahy, who was (iirc) better known for music videos back then. Roxanne Hart looked well in it, mind. And Clancy Brown was a brilliant bad guy. Was that his first significant role?

Please God, no. I've no doubt the remake will have the most up to date CGI, but the original (dated or not) has a certain charm. And the SFX are most definitely of their time. The climax at the end; after McLeod beheads the Kurgan and lifts into the air, if you look carefully, you can see the wires that lifts him!
