Just been on local news. The hill is now fenced off.
No surprise I posted they'd stop the fun a few days ago.Just been on local news. The hill is now fenced off.
Must just be me then, fair enough! I couldn’t be less interested in Richard Ashcroft. If loads of people are then fair enough. I had no idea he was that big of a pull tbh. Always put him in that Ian Brown solo bracket of hasbeen rubbish!
Saw Johnny Marr supporting New Order in Wythenshawe park last year and he was sensational, perfect for a big outdoor Manchester crowd.
Looks to me that they've fenced it off at the top. Nothing to stop you climbing over the fence at the bottom of the hill and walking up the fieldJust been on local news. The hill is now fenced off.

Johnny Marr supported Oasis in 2000 in Bolton as did the Happy Mondays. That was quite a line up.Must just be me then, fair enough! I couldn’t be less interested in Richard Ashcroft. In case you missed it.
Fair enough mate no I never read hardly any of it maybe I should have done.Haha, nice.
I was just replying to your comment to say that there has been plenty of people in this thread coming on to say they don't like Oasis. I guess you've not read much of the thread and so weren't to know. It's been mentioned a few times that people can't help themselves and that they get a kick out of the negativity. Not just on this thread but plenty of others too.
You didn't upset me mate, so no worries.
Try the top of Crumpsall Lane mate. About a 15 minute walk to the park from there.I’m going tomorrow I’m driving has anyone local any tips for where to park car away from the road closures? I know it’s a nightmare getting away from there cheers
Where are you going back to mate? Can anyone advise what a good road to go after the gig (assume a walk away ) to get a uber ?

I live really close to the park and it's been really busy after the gigs. You might want to try and get a cab from the Friendship pub at the bottom of Scholes Lane. It's about a 10 minute walk from the park.About 20 min drive away, Moorhey Street, Oldham.
