Oasis reunion

The amount of stuff they put out 94 to 97 was more than enough for most bands in an entire career.
Looking back they were never gonna be able to keep doing it.
Them songs are still popular now and getting even more popular.

Exactly why I don't think they'll release an album of new material. Other than a live recording of the current shows, obviously!

Thirty years is a long time and their best material is a long way behind them. I don't think it's possible for Noel to recreate anywhere near the quality or level of energy and freshness in songs.

Sonething on a par with NGHFB and Beady Eye albums would be about as good as we're going to get if they do put new stuff out.

Quit at the top. It won't get any better than the current run.

This tour Noel said “he was doing the tour for Gem and Andy” because of the way he left Oasis in 2009” the Etihad and Knebworth next year and that’s it?
Noel has plenty of songs to go at if they did try to carry on songs they never sang live before, if he changes his mind.

They both had successful solo careers they might go back to that, unless he really enjoys working with Liam again as he takes his singing seriously nowadays.

They’ll do Glasto before they finish

Do you think so ? all those songs that need another outing Oasis has masses of songs, …………“don’t go away” Hindu times” stop crying your heart out” hey now” be here now” the list is endless and the song writing of those songs second to none.

Better than Agueroo ? Not in a million years !
Personally, no - I agree. City have brought me to my knees. My sons were 11 and 5 at the time of Aguero though and my sister - although a City fan, is a very casual one. Oasis is something we've all had in common for years. That's why collectively, I would put Saturday night above all else.

They’ve made some good songs since then 1998, they just haven’t produced an album like the first two and I don’t think that’s worthy of any criticism considering how brilliant both of those albums are.
Don’t Believe The Truth is my second favourite Oasis album behind Defeintely, Maybe.

Turn up the Sun is one of my favourite Oasis songs. It was the opening song on my set list I did for the reunion. I never used to like Lyla but over the years it’s grew on me and it’s class live, I’m surprised they left it out.

Must just be me then, fair enough! I couldn’t be less interested in Richard Ashcroft. If loads of people are then fair enough. I had no idea he was that big of a pull tbh. Always put him in that Ian Brown solo bracket of hasbeen rubbish!

Saw Johnny Marr supporting New Order in Wythenshawe park last year and he was sensational, perfect for a big outdoor Manchester crowd.

He's just announced a headline gig at Co-Op funnily enough, expect it will set out double quick. Some of his solo stuff is superb, well worth a listen.
