I live really close to the park and it's been really busy after the gigs. You might want to try and get a cab from the Friendship pub at the bottom of Scholes Lane. It's about a 10 minute walk from the park.

I’ve seen your post about staying in Oldham, good luck with that lol, it’ll be an eye opener.

Head up Victoria Ave, towards Tesco, it’s about 1.5 miles and you can get uber from there and you’re already heading in the right direction

We left Eccles at 15:30, got the tram to town, switched trams and must've got there about 16:30ish. It was all good. Got a pint and listened to Cast under some trees with a beer.

Queues for urinals and bars weren't too bad either.
