Oasis reunion

What a fucking night.

To allay the fears of those about traffic / transport..

We had booked on the shuttle bus but had a few too many beers so decided to get a black cab straight to Heaton park

Agreed a price of 25 from outside Yates on Portland street which was honoured despite the metre showing 55 when he dropped us off

Assume the driver had a few more trips to and from heaton park. As the missus left her phone in the black cab (with the fucking tickets on.. which we resolved) and after an hour or so in heaton park we got a call saying the phone was available at customer services in the park to collect, which was a massive result. So shout out to the fucking legend who handed it in if they are on here

Wandered back aimlessly after the gig and tried to get in a couple of pubs which were a no go, but then got an uber no problem

Home (in Northwich) by midnight

Can’t imagine we’ll be spending much time sight seeing. We arrive in Manchester Saturday and will be spending whole day/evening there. Next days the gig.
Can't imagine your car spending much time there either, as levets posted...park somewhere else, the tram runs through Chadderton....even the Freehold area is a better place to park.

Unreal mate, jealous of every **** who’s still got tickets to go. Loved every second of it.

Enjoy.
after reading so many reviews and posts from people saying how brilliant these gigs are my giddyness levels are through the roof.

Kind of feels like going to Wembley or a European final but I already know City are going to win

Crikey - fair play to that cabbie for being honest. Glad you got in ok mate.

Mind you a modern smartphone can easily be remotely locked and made unusable so unless you’re part of some organised gang that sends them to China to be stripped for parts, there’s no point in nicking someone’s phone these days.

As soon as the little meter thing goes up on the screen, brace yourself for two hours of pure euphoria.

What a fucking night. Utterly unbelievable. One of the best nights of my life. No voice left just classic after classic.

Want to go again at weekend if I can get tickets.

@BlueHammer85 you’re in for a treat mate.

I’m still on a high from Saturday. Can’t stop listening to Oasis and replaying videos from the gig on SM.

Transport there was easy, Uber took 20 minutes from City Centre to Ostrich Lane. Walked back which was fine.

@BlueHammer85 is going to need his waterproofs this weekend, looking like proper Gig weather is on its way.

Had to get this picture in with the blue flare and the banana!

Also for anyone going on the weekend and unsure how to get back, the shuttle buses were genuinely very good and well organised. Back in the northern quarter by half 11 (I know you could probably get there the same time walking but if you are with older people or ones who might struggle with that walk then honestly get booked on those shuttle buses!)

And those who do have tickets have a brilliant day! We got there about 2ish, queued up for general admission at the North gate and then got a free upgrade to front standing!!)

I went last night.
I'm not a liar.
I'm not a bullshitter.
I'm not saying this just because Noel and Liam are Mancs and City fans.
It was fucking amazing last night.
Liam smashed it.
Noel sounded superb.
They atmosphere was amazing.
Everyone joining in with the songs.
Got talking to people from Bristol and Sheffield. We ended up buying each other pints.
No trouble
Everyone got on.
Old and new City shirts every wear.
The organization, travel, stewards, bar service, even the toilets were superb.
For those of you going on Saturday and on Sunday, you'll fucking love it.
