Etihad Campus, Stadium and Collar Site Development Thread

We have competition.

I won't post the info as it will take the thread off topic.

Spurs are building a 180 room hotel, 29 stories high, right next to their ground.

Spurs are also building 4 residential towers, 19 to 35 storeys high, featuring 585-spartments.

Google F3 Architects for the hotel. Google the residential towers.

I wonder what City have planned for the Collar Site?

Another hotel for starters.

So can City use ticket sales from the Coop and hotel as PSR recorded revenue? or is it it's own seperate entity?

I am not sure about the commercial arrangement between City and Hotel operator Renaissance. It's possible that City have licensed the hotel to Renaissance in return for a fee. The City Football Group has a stake in Live City.

CO OP will defo be seperate mate but i would imagine that the hotel, cafe etc underneath and attached to the stadium would be allowable.
I think so too but there will be other fingers in the pie. For example, Kitbag run City's merchandising stores. I imagine the shops and bars will be managed by organisations who pay City for the privilege.

Usually the other way around whereby the hotel group is paid to manage the hotel under their branding, including sales and marketing, on behalf of the owners. (Fees sometimes related to and coming out of hotel revenues and so variable)

We do not know the actual arrangment between City and Renaissance.

180 rooms, 29 stories. That's only 6 rooms per floor. Bearing in mind it gets more expensive to build the higher you go, seems inefficient, unless they are constrained by land availability?

The share in the arena is owned by CFG so no revenue in Manchester City FC

The proceeds from the hotel and commercial building will count to MCFC
