So the last FOI request was late last year and it was £900K then. They had that “holiday” of non payments which expired last day of June and they had to stump up money at the beginning of July.
Can’t recall - wasn’t it £35K?

So that amount should have been £865K

We need our mole on the inside to find out what’s going on.

HOLD ON

have they tried using the big brother tactic of fudging the Covid-19 Allowances

In the vain, futile hope that giving them more will help them survive when the reality is they are throwing good money after bad money…..

Did they expect a return on their initial investment?

Councils are joke when it comes to spending money. Warrington Council lost £8m on a £10m investment in commercial property……in Birmingham! Not even benefitting the town.

The thing with the Moston rag socks is they do a lot of work “in the community” that the council used to do and have since outsourced to organisations such as the rag socks. When they bleat about being not for profit (which is correct as they hardly ever make a profit) and all their proceeds go to benefit the community, it is utter bollocks.

Their community work is done wherever the funding dictates they have to do it. The rag socks are chasing the £ wherever it may be and wherever they go.

For those struggling to keep up. They did claim too much furlough for staff that were still working for them & spent years paying back HMRC £1000 a month for money they shouldn’t have claimed.

The most shocking turn of events is all that money has actually been paid off now

Sorry I am struggling to keep up here. You talking about the big rags here or the tribute act?

The temu version at pallet park overclaimed 23k of furlough. Eventually after a couple of years they fessed up and repaid it at £1,000 a month.

It’s funny how all the little details are in their reports and accounts but so few of their actual owners/fans who constantly spout off about them doing things the right way and their great ownership model actually bother reading them. Their website shows how many times reports and accounts get downloaded & it’s pitifully small. Then there’s only a handful of people who actually question what the hell is going on.
