It should be Vianas highest priority to sort this extension out asap. We are already leaving it late.
We should have done it when he got injured. I knew this shit would happen when he had to rehab in Spain for months with agent fucking Carvahal in his ear.
(What a job the surgeon did with Carvahal btw can't believe he's already back playing his injury was disgustingly brutal)
Yeah I know Pep prefers another surgeon but Sane/ Gundo/ Mendy they were all awful after ACL's.
Only Gundo prospered as he learned to play a different way.. I mean pre acl Gundo was a pacy dribber.
After ACL he learned to shield the ball with his body and get fouls.. it worked great for us for a few years but not everyone can change the way they play!
It's not exactly a situation that happened today, we've had all summer to show him we mean business. In a strange way this Rodri situation is the best thing that could have happened the club now. They have no option but to show him we mean business from January on
Nobody expected this start to the season - Rodris reaction to it - And Madrids reaction to Rodris reaction .It's not exactly a situation that happened today, we've had all summer to show him we mean business.
We’ve shown we mean business when you look at the expenditure from Jan. No player could look at how much we’ve spent and suggest we aren’t showing ambition. The question is, have we spent that money well? Time will tell but if not, I expect he will be off and you could hardly blame him.In a strange way this Rodri situation is the best thing that could have happened the club now. Shocked he played the full match.Glad to see him back. He looked fucked by the end and our control went out the game.
I would argue that many expected us to not bounce back to our best this season and certainly not at the start, barely anyone thought we would compete for the league this season. Hardly surprising that a player like Rodri is not happy about losing and even less surprising that Real Madrid are monitoring the situation as they have done in the last year or so. Everyone could have seen this coming. With that said, there is obviously still time for Viana to get a new Rodri deal sorted.Nobody expected this start to the season - Rodris reaction to it - And Madrids reaction to Rodris reaction .
just been reading a few quotes from Rodders about how things on and off the pitch aren’t quite right. Hope we can get him to sign an extension but wouldn’t be surprised at all if he decides to move on.
Agreed mate.We fucked up after the 4 in a row not rebuilding the team so there are no quick fixes. Think we get a top 4 this year but maybe compete better next season.
This year the spine and the middle of the park needs to gel and we may need to wait a while for things to click.
When they click he may change his mind or he may be more convinced he needs to leave.
It's obvious though he's the lone remaining person as KDB/ Gundo/ Bernardo/ Grealish/ Ederson/ Stones/ Akanji are gone/ on their way out.

Maybe he's pointing out some of our recent acquisitions from the Bundesliga were not really team players - hopefully now pursuing their fortunes elsewhere. Not at all sure that Traff in particular has enjoyed the vibe.
Are you so sure about that mateHe won't move, he has two years left on his contract. Along with Haaland, he's one of the family jewels. The owners would rather see him leave on a free at 31 than sell him, like the Qataris with Mbappé at PSG. City made him a Ballon d'Or winner and supported him during his injury, and received a lot of love from the French fans. He'll have a contract that no one will offer him elsewhere in Europe. PSG has Vitinha, Barça is broke and has no money, Real Madrid has shown him too much disrespect. Next summer, when the club spends $400 million to acquire Barcola, Olise, Livramento, and Wharton or Beleba, he'll quickly understand that there's no better place for him than here. He won't move.
