Stoupa is fab. It's like turning the clock back 30 years.I’m also in Greece: a week in Koroni and just about to drive to Stoupa for a week. Beautiful places.

Couldn’t agree more, just got back from Lesvos and it was exactly that, but such a relief and so relaxing.Stoupa is fab. It's like turning the clock back 30 years.
With you on all of it.Love Stoupa, not been to Georges Hotel, but stayed in Kosta Hotel, Stoupa Hotel and Manis Rose. The walk into Agios Nicolas, through the olive groves and along the coast is just lovely. Will be booking for next year. Love Greece and the Greek people.
Went lesvos 12 years ago. We stayed in anaxos. Beautiful.Couldn’t agree more, just got back from Lesvos and it was exactly that, but such a relief and so relaxing.
Thats what i sat when people ask what stoupa is like, “greece 30 years ago”Stoupa is fab. It's like turning the clock back 30 years.
We were in Molivos, beautiful, a bit hilly for us in the heat, but we managed. Harbour beautiful, sea bream, red snapper all kinds of seafood. Will go again. Hired a car for 3 days, but made mistake of not stating automatic. Negotiating hairpins, wrong side of road and gears! Lesson learned.Went lesvos 12 years ago. We stayed in anaxos. Beautiful.
Petra and molivos (sp) were gorgeous too
Where in Lesvos do you stay?Couldn’t agree more, just got back from Lesvos and it was exactly that, but such a relief and so relaxing.
We went to Stoupa and didn't returnWith you on all of it.
Georges is great.
Pool has a bar run by an english bloke steve. Top guy.
Was funny, when we left stoupa in 2024, the regular visitors and steve said , see you same time next year. I replied that we never go same place twice on the bounce, “we’ll see”, they said
Hadnt been home 2 days and we re-booked it for 2025 :))
Walked into the pool bar this and there were a lot of the same people were , one fella, a dour bloke from Middlesborough, just looked up and said ,”told you”.
Stoupa gets under your skin. We love greece and go every year but no where has got to us like stoupa!
We have booked finikounda for 2026 but i wager we’ll be back to stoupa in 2027.
Almost feel guilty about not going next year
Molivos, very picturesque, good restaurants, hilly. Went to Anaxos for a beach, really relaxing. We hired a car but you can get to Molivos on the Blue Train.Where in Lesvos do you stay?
We're holidayed in Anaxos on and off for 12 years and have booked again for next July
We used to travel to Molyvos for a bit of different scenery in the evening and a steak at Gia MasMolivos, very picturesque, good restaurants, hilly. Went to Anaxos for a beach, really relaxing. We hired a car but you can get to Molivos on the Blue Train.
Been there for a City match and done just that! Promenade refurbished all the way along when we went this year.Thats what i sat when people ask what stoupa is like, “greece 30 years ago”
No sports bars , no kareoke, just lovely n quiet.
But if you want to watch a sporting event the owner of mango will wheel a tv out for you :))
They still have “quiet time” but deffo more relaxedWe went to Stoupa and didn't return
The resort was lovely but telling kids they had to be quiet, when they were playing in the pool between 12 and 4 really pissed us off
Stop it, we came back Sunday and missing it!We used to travel to Molyvos for a bit of different scenery in the evening and a steak at Gia Mas
Just go as far as Petra now and for a steak hit the Anaxos hotel
Last year we hired a car and saw a bit more of different resorts
Sounds dreadful as it means City are shit again and we’re about to live though the greatest, bestest football team in history winning everything but it not being bad for the game…Stoupa is fab. It's like turning the clock back 30 years.
At least 20 years since we went and when we were there, regular visitors told us how commercial it had becomeThey still have “quiet time” but deffo more relaxed
Beach in the morning, dinner at 2 ish for an hour or two, pool til 6/7.
Mine are 13 and 10 and didnt have that issue
We went back 2023 after 25 years. Yes it has changed, beds on beach more restaurants, but on the whole still lovely. Only annoying thing was some adults, noisy, showing off, look at me attitude, a bit like kids really. At least 20 years since we went and when we were there, regular visitors told us how commercial it had become
Is the restauranter still on the front with the freshly roasted pig in the glass box?
Edit.
Think it was 2003 as I was talking to a scouse bloke who had been involved in the Manchester commonwealth games
And I let his lad borrow my swim goggles and never saw them again, the thieving twat
Went for a week last November and stayed in Riberia, got the tram in from the airport, very mild weather, the open top hop-on/off bus tour is worth doing, didn't bother with the Harry Potter bookshop, looks like a tourist rip-off but each to their own.I'm off to Porto next week if anyone has any recommendations?
