The "which famous person died today" thread

Mingiss. Just a Scottish thing.
I am a member of that ancient clan but because of an early childhood spent in England, pronounce it the English way. When I moved back to Scotland I took great delight in only answering at school to the English version. Used to drive the teachers to despair. Still hate the Scottish pronunciation to this day. Ming us. Sounds like 'we are smelly' :-)

Obviously best remembered as Hyacinth but had a long and varied career. Loved her monologues as Kitty on Victoria Wood. Steptoe & Son when she played a fake medium doing Henry VIII impressions. A teacher alongside Sidney Poitier in To Sir With Love. She was entertainment royalty, RIP your majesty.
I saw her play Mrs Malloprop in a school for scandal and she blew the audience away with her performance
 
He was a doctor in the hospital where Jack was taken after being attacked by a " Lightning Throat".
And Jenny Agutter was a nurse there.
The fumbling detective fucking around whilst he’s on the phone. ‘Just tell him I’m dead’ hahaha.
