Because the parties may have some input as to when it gets publicly released.

Depends what it says. If it’s in the PL’s favour it will definitely get leaked.

The panel was commissioned and paid for by the PL. Both parties will have input into when it is released publically. It is not a criminal trial. Both parties will have to co-ordinate the comms. There are a huge number of stakeholders involved, some of whom are impacted by stock market reaction for starters.
