New PL financial controls | Clubs agree squad spending cap 'in principle'

This is ridiculous, the Premier League voting to destroy itself is just unbelievable
Stories like this enhance my belief that we have won the charges case.

The PL have failed to stop us at the request and pressure from the red tops. So instead they turn the league into an absolute shit show in a blind acceptance that the Super league conversation will soon rear it's head again.

Dumb idea that I can't see being brought in unless all top leagues around the world agree.

A better idea would be a percentage of salary spent going down the pyramid.

Of all the dumb ideas the PL have come up with, this has to be the dumbest (apart from none-transparent VAR). Will stop there in case it becomes a 'What have the Romans ever done for us?' sketch.

Don't diss VAR @BlueHammer85 will be all over you!! :-)

Assuming that us, United, Liverpool, Arsenal, Chelsea, and Spurs would definitely oppose it, then they only need to get one other club on board (say Newcastle, Villa or Forest) to defeat it.

I'm possibly missing the point, but who do you think is driving these changes if none of those clubs are?
