Get a similar one at a cafe on Eccles new rd, but with 2 sausages & without the black pud , 2 toast and a mug of tea or coffee, £5.90!!! AND they take cash or card!!!

The other thing about Cafe Metro was the breakfasts were cooked by a really friendly beautiful Greek lady. If I'd gone to a Star Trek convention and was told she was Marina Sirtis (Commander Deanna) I swear I would have believed it.


Sometimes I fantasied that me and Marina were an item and we lived in a penthouse apartment on Deansgate. Sadly the truth was I living in a pokey one bed flat above a pet shop on Tib Street, the real Mrs Davnci at the time was a dead ringer for Olive from On The Buses....
