PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

Which it will be. The contortions to create something that isn't going to happen is really quite impressive.

There will be a decision and we will see it. It really is that simple.

PS Chatgpt is really bad at football regulations. Some of those rules don't even exist and all the references are wrong.
glad i didnt waste time reading it thank you

Monday 10th or Friday 14th with a fall back date of Monday 17th? I'm hoping that our destruction of Liverpool on Sunday will be obliterated by a seismic victory announced Monday and that the "row of grinning beards (please remind me of which racist came up with that one) will be laughing their heads off"
It was Barney Ronay, but I doubt if Newcastle’s owners would find the verdict that funny whichever way it goes.

You’re dreaming if you think this isn’t getting published at some point. The pressure from our vindictive chums in the media will be off the scale
It's inconceivable that something isn't getting published but it's quite astounding that there are scenarios where something like this could potentially be kept under wraps.

It is amazing but you simply have to check its output. It is brilliant for short cutting stuff you know - treat it like a junior or trainee creating first cuts of things
Personally I prefer to do things correctly from the beginning then there’s less chance of that bad piece of data being included further down the line. It’s like building a house, you need the proper foundations. The only way a good builder can guarantee the house will stay up is to dig up the foundations laid by the trainee and start again.

i treat it like an old guy sat in a chair giving you advice. he's full of wisdom but his memory isn't what it was so he's great for inspiration just check that he remembered things right.

for reference, much of what i do is software development. it's impossible to stay ahead of every new coding development/standard so i'm constantly running ideas or problems by chatgpt. i used to do much the same thing in the office with other developers but now that we all work from home i find chatgpt easier and also less embarrassing if i have a brain fart moment. oh and chatgpt doesn't take the mickey mercilessly for stupid oversights.

There is no real scenario though. We would always see the final decision (or award as it is known). The only way we wouldn't see reasons is if the parties had agreed at the outset that they didn't want reasons from the Commission. In the circumstances, this was/is impossible. So there is no route to secrecy under rule W.

The rules expressly state "final awards of any Commission, Interim Commission or Appeal Board shall be confirmed publicly and published on the League’s website"

There is potentially a scenario, however unlikely, though:

W.82.3: The Premier League shall publish the decision of the Commission, unless the Commission itself directs that it (or part of it) should remain confidential.

How they agreed on the level of redaction, I just can't imagine. eg did the PL lawyers say to the IC:-

"we are going to accuse the owner of committing perjury at CAS2020 and committing multiple breaches of the PL rules and creating a fraudulent member club that submitted false accounts for 9 nine years. However if you don't agree with our accusations would you mind awfully if you didnt actually repeat them in the public award..."

You could argue the PL executive have already let the world know what they think of SM, however to see this written in plain English and in great detail and to be FALSE has extremely serious implications for Masters etc.

I don't know. It seems pretty reliable to me ...

"What are the chances that @slbsn, a poster on the Manchester City fan forum, knows anything at all about what is going on in the 115 case with the Premier League?

Short answer: almost certainly zero unless they are directly involved or genuinely connected to someone who is — and if they were, they wouldn’t be posting about it on a football forum."

I’ve always said ChatGPT was underrated ;)

Was there a long answer?
