PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

Great response mate, and I agree with the thrust of what you said, especially the last part!

My working life brings me into contact with a huge range of people including many Oxbridge types and others with little or no formal education and I often find people in the second cohort who I consider to be smarter than those in the first, so I fully accept that intelligence can be measured in lots of different ways, and I certainly don’t base it simply one metric, most especially academic qualifications. You have alluded to this in your post, and I completely agree.

However the only way I can evaluate Delaney is based on what I see and hear through the prism of his profession, and I would say, subjectively, and (tbf) in relative terms to his calling (which makes it a qualified assertion) I’d still say he was stupid. This again aligns with what you’ve posted :-)

So I’ll recalibrate my assessment: he’s relatively stupid.

And a ****.
I like you.

Thanks for sharing. It's interesting how the article says the PL leadership are relaxed. If that is the case someone should go and check Ricky Masters pulse.

They are only relaxed as there is no judgement but as soon as there is & whatever that judgement is there problems mount up. Maybe they are quite happy to have found a panel that are so busy the judgement will be beyond their tenure.

Delaney makes the point that UEFA’s case was based on the same documents the PL has. We may wish to know how he knows this but would point out that these documents were emails and CAS accepted that they were not proof of any action and thus amounted to no evidence in support of UEF’s case. Delaney is incapable of outlining any new, compelling evidence to dent our club’s obvious confidence. We, and the hacks, are as much in the dark as we were 3 years ago.

I can definitely go with your recalibrated assessment of “relatively stupid….and a ****”

Noiced a headline : "Rags win proves that their DNA still exists " ..................................

Fooling all of the people.......................all of the time!!

As if the rags can play with that intensity ever game lol. This season will be easier to maintain it due to the amount of games they have to play

And probably still won't manage it !

We made it easy for them yesterday and one swallow blah ....blah . Others won't fall into the same trap.
