Everything we've heard from @slbsn has suggested this is an entirely normal time frame for really complicated legal proceedings between businesses. It's more that fooball, and football fans, aren't used to things happening on a multi year timetable.

Neither is the legal profession who appear not to have speeded up their system of checking whether a compliance with UK law has happened or not.
The rest of the world embraces AI or even computers to be more efficient.

Fair enough, sure I've read negative posts from you before when he's been on TalkSport or other media stuff but could be mistaken.
