PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

Hasn’t Stefan and other experts said these things can take 2-3 years? With City’s being so vast and complex, maybe we’re still actually early?

Here's the free version https://archive.ph/cSgAP

I read it and for Delaney it's not bad actually, although he claims there is no statute of limitations in this case, which is demonstrably incorrect as Stefan and others have repeatedly pointed out.

i He also states the investigation is ongoing, which isn't strictly correct. The investigation led to the appointment of a (sort of) independent tribunal, which heard the evidence and that process finished over a year ago. Obviously we're still awaiting the outcome of this but the actual investigation finished when the PL handed it over to their panel.

However, he's clearly quoting senior club sources (albeit off the record) that are questioning the PL's actions over this and their lack of consultation, and saying that the PL leadership has to go if we're cleared of the most serious charges. It sounds like many of the club execs are heartily sick of this whole thing and even questioning whether Masters even knew what he was doing.
Definitely more emollient in tone.

And when he said and City 'still protest their innocence ' as if it's ridiculous to do so. Disgraceful innuendo .
The level of snobbery directed at City, any time we buy good players, by media commentators and muppets on social media, is ridiculous. It’s like a kick off every time we have the audacity to try and improve our squad, as if we have no right to do so.

The 115 is just a weapon to be used in that crap thrown at us. As it stands we are innocent until proven guilty and not a single 115 charge has been proven.

They just want us to go away and not compete, which is what the entire thing is designed to do.

It's true everyone on here knows these things in the courts can last years. It's also true that this isn't the courts and everyone on here thought it would be done and dusted before last summer. The benefit in saying both things, of course, is that you can always claim to be right :)

All true but fuck em.

Given the process is expressly said to be rule W (see initial announcement), it would probably need every club (shareholder) to consent to a change of process to a new "off piste" arbitration. Regardless, as detailed above, it didn't happen. It was all as expected - hearing and long awaited decision.
Also, our leading advocate has confirmed, "We don't know when the verdict will be delivered, or what it will say. We are all waiting."

This doesn't sound as though we have switched to arbitration.
