It's not just City that are confident it's the new players signing for us and those extending their contracts - they had the option to wait but didn't - it's inconceivable they weren't assured of a positive outcome.
I waited in vain for Stefan to make this obvious and significant point in his recent TS appearance.

He probably didn't because it's conceivable there are some get out clauses in the contracts, same with sponsorship deals.
How can City truly assure anyone City are innocent?

It's not playing devils advocate it's a fair question and one I ask myself often.
