PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

Because we don't know?
We know all of the evidence from both sides. Therefore we know if we’re guilty or not. Even if it’s just our own view of the truth it’s time something was said. Even if it’s through dodgy journalistic channels.

3 years uneasy that the club could be ruined.

3 years of the red loving media salivating at our potential downfall.

3 years of us City fans learning nothing about what’s going on. No one on here has provided any tangible information on the case.

“It’s a legal matter” after 3 years wears thin now.

If this was red club there would be protests, press campaign and questions asked in parliament.

City fans have been treated badly.

I expect nothing from the premier league who look after their favourites. But what on earth are owners thinking about or doing? Do they care?

Oops sorry I forgot it’s a “legal matter”. See you next year on here.

Let’s just say that after looking at all the evidence the panel has seen that there is substantial corruption against the club, how do they go forward releasing this as it would make the premier league untenable in terms of governance..

The club already knew if we were guilty or not, they didn't need to see the PL's evidence to answer that question.

We made a statement at the time, we're not going to add anything to that until the panel give both sides their findings.

The panel (in theory at least) should go where the evidence takes it, it's not in their remit to decide what should and shouldn't be revealed (bar any personal redacted stuff). Not that I think that scenario is likely.

3 year anniversary of charges coming up Friday this week.

btw has any club been charged for PSR issues for season 24-25? I didnt see anything on that. last year news came out mid January for 23-24 that no clubs were charged but Leicester had some risk.

obv magic tricks from Chelsea and Villa on selling car parks, woman teams, hotels etc worked wonders related to PSR.

Chelsea even tried to sell Ken Bates but couldn't afford the fee.

Probably suits the PL and its favourite clubs to drag it out as long as possible, especially if they knew ages ago we’re not guilty. It keeps the media witch-hunt going, besmirching the club and possibly putting off potential signings.

The day the verdict is released will be the day football dies ? Well that will be the media headlines
Not Guilty will be the outcome, it will be the day Manchester City killed football and the so-called big clubs will walk away to a super league or a new league structure

We don't win with a not guilty verdict; the damage is set in stone
The football side of it, the officials and match officials are all ready showing their power to change results.
We have seen 2 big fines (Millions) for so-called kicking off late ? What's next The floodlights are not bright enough

Grass is not cut in the right direction.
The pitch markings are too bright.
The coaches’ bench in the away section is not big enough.
Our mascots are too tall.

And add to that the grass is the wrong shade of green....

And the stadium PA system is too loud !

Agree, I’ve no idea but for the PL to save face perhaps they’re asking City to take a rap for non cooperation just as UEFA did all those years ago, Khaldoon had already said that isn’t happening and he regrets giving in to UEFA, we all know the media twisted it to make it look as if all evidence was time barred which it wasn’t.

We surely can’t be guilty after all this time, the redshirt cartel would be gleefully handing out the punishments if they have the evidence.

I know it’s down to the panel to decide but those three people have reputation’s to uphold, perhaps they don’t want to be misled by the grubby twat Masters.
