PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

But the rags are complaining about PP ongoing joke about the lad who ain't getting his hair cut and arsenal with one with Cinderella 's wedding with Rice and Arteta as the ugly sisters as bridesmaids
The rags not winning games and Arse finishing 2nd are Facts. It's innocuous fluff designed to show that they have a go at everyone equally.

Paddy Power could make similar cheap jokes about empty seats or tourists and we'd laugh it off.

The refund thing literally said it was to "put right Manchester City's dodgy financial dealings", and doubled down with a financial commitment based on City's title wins being invalid.

How can they legally get away with this if we're ultimately found innocent?

This has been my thoughts all along - anti-City brigade at the PL went gung-ho looking to get us. They are now in balls deep other people like lawyers look at it and point out what our legal comeback options are and those of their partners so all the delays are because they are stood on a landmine which the minute they lift their foot the pressure switch is released and BOOM. They want to get away with losing a toe but they are being warned that the damage will be life threatening

That still very much not sneakily puts out the suggestion we are guilty.

It would have been asked many times no doubt (after 3 years my mind is fried), but has any of the MSM ever put out a "What happens if City are cleared" article?

I find it hard to believe someone hasn't. But I've never seen it. Not even to legitimately quote Pep, who said it a few times.

From your friend and mine ....

Cheers, I'd missed that in mid Jan, not that Miggy adds much. You'd have thought that the Independent may attract a better class of commentators at the bottom, sadly they all seem to be cut 'n paste jobs from the likes of the 'Daily Sieg Heil', 'Peadophiles Are Us' or 'The Scum'.

I did find this one funny though:-

"Thank you Miguel for reporting on this. There has been such silence that it seemed like it was going to be brushed under the carpet."

Silence!!!

People are mental at times.

Where I am, there’s a Pizza Express next door to an independent pizza place that do bottomless pizza for £17.

The difference in standard is off the scale, but yet some still go to PE.

I get that some picky kids will want what they’ve had before, but apart from that, it’s insane to me that anyone would choose a chain over a top quality independent restaurant.
Home Run Pizzas in Hazel Grove piss all over your Domino's and Pizza Express.
Cheaper than the others and really tasty.

Well I think the rumblings behind the scenes are that City have on the whole won this and we're seeing the evidence in the shit that pgmol are pulling. Today will be another one.
I can easily imagine a scenario within which we have come out on top in terms of the #115 outcome and that the extensive time delay is due to the negotiations as to what is released publicly and what we will accept in terms of any reparations and repercussions for those responsible for this witch hunt.

On our side we go all-in and insist on full disclosure and the annihilation of those responsible whereas the PL refuse as they want to limit the fallout and protect the product.

So the PL threaten City along the lines of "you go full disclosure and we will make sure you never win a single bit of silverware ever again. And in case you think we can't do that - just watch how we can influence the outcome of every single one of your games, week in, week out, with increasingly outrageous referee and VAR decisions, and all backed by a servile, fully bought-and-paid-for, client-journalist riddled media".

Hence the blatant escalation in shit we've seen in the last few months in particular.

Cool story bro.

Would love that to be so, just can’t believe it would be.

But wouldn't that scenario play into City's hands ? We would have conclusive proof that football is bent, confirmed and delivered in writing to be taken to a court of law .
