I am reminded of a case I heard of a few years back where a Chinese takeaway got done for money laundering after they’d paid exactly £20,000 in cash into their back account four Mondays on a row!

My Chinese chippy (cash only bien sûr) is the bollocks. As I’m staring inanely at the wall with a tenner in my hand wondering if I could have afforded large curry rather than small I’ve ordered, they’ve wrapped it, bagged it and given me the exact change without even telling me how much I’ve spent. And I KNOW it’s the right amount. And no, I couldn’t have afforded large curry sauce.
