I saw something like that in Lanzarote a few years back, and this was in the day time, just in our apartment looking up and around (for planes if I'm honest), I see this proper bright light, and it was bright but fairly high up, so I looked away for a few seconds, looked back and it was still there, then as I was staring at it, boom it was off higher and fast as I don't know what!

I purposely looked at the floor the first time I saw it, thinking it won't be there when I look again, but it was, weird and no idea what it was to be honest.

Consider it the other way round, if 'they' were looking for us. We only transmitted any radio less than 200 years ago and a deep space signal less than 50 years. Even if you were pointing your receiver straight at us, the chance the signal would have reached you is tiny based on the distances involved.

That's before considering there is lots of life on earth yet only one species that could create some kind of signal and, ignoring the timescales above, we've only been around for a few hundred thousands years and only a few thousand where we've been able to do something significant - pyramids etc. If someone else had the ability to somehow keep an eye on earth to see if anything was happening, they'd have to have looked relatively recently in terms of the age of the universe.

I'm sure there is, or has been, life elsewhere in the universe. Whether it would class as intelligent, let alone capable of building anything that can leave orbit is another thing and whether they are still around now is a further issue. So life, probably. Are we being visited by beings in their space craft, highly unlikely. Are they sexually probing rural Americans, nope.

Even IF there are aliens somewhere in the universe, I don't see how they could travel to earth.
If they left today, and could travel at the speed of light, it would take them millions of years to get here, and, probably by then our sun would have imploded.
If they are here now, then they must have left millions of years in the past, probably when earth was just a ball of hot rocks.

The thing is, we on earth only work at the speed of light as a base to work out the distance and time
But if there is life outside of earth then intelligences from what is not normal to us would seem scary

The UAP balls of light can come out off nowhere and must be a type of time travelling

The nearest star to earth is 'only' 4.2 light years away

Maybe they’re from the far side of the moon/ under the sea/ the empty space in Wayne Rooney’s skull?

Perhaps every tin of Birds custard is a wormhole.
 
I’m sort of yes I believe but I’m not sure,my only question would be what reason would military pilots and commercial pilots gain from these sightings bar ridicule, military especially would surely know an aircraft from an ufo ..

Your only question needs to be have any of the funded highly educated and respected astronomy scientists, or any of the hundreds of thousands of amateur astronomers many with very sophisticated equipment that spend all their time searching for signs of life ever published any evidence of any signs of advanced life wizzing around the universe, let alone our solar system or galaxy.
Only need to look at the graphic @Gorton_Tubster posted and see that the ‘UFOs’ only seem interested in the USA and UK, funny that.
