I’ve not been very complimentary about Phil Salt but his 62 today was a very good innings

I remember a time when Sri Lanka was a decent limited overs side, but I'm reading on the BBC app that they're on a 12 game losing streak against England in this format, going back to 2014. It's also the lowest score in the tournament this year so far.

Well that was a pleasant surprise when I got home after totally wiping my hands of them lol. I still think we’re massively underprepared and badly managed though. A few stand out performances are getting us through. Certainly don’t look a team/unit that can win it. I’d drop Banton (one good innings in 6 isn’t good enough), Bring in Duckett and drop Butler down below Jacks. That brings Harry the clown up one as well which I think would benefit him and the team. We need some impetus at the top and Duckett and Salt could certainly give us that. McCullum hasn’t got it in him to think that tactically though unfortunately

I think he’s fine too. More interesting to listen to than the Michael Owen of commentating, Ian Ward.

They're very good at home in T20s. Our win pre-tournament was their first home series loss in a long time. Glad we got the job done today, didn't manage to watch any of it but a comprehensive win and a good step towards the semi finals.

I'd normally say that that's an "American-ism". But seeing as most 'muricans don't have a scooby that cricket even exists, I'd doubt it.
