PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

This phenomenon is known as the Baader-Meinhof phenomenon, often referred to as the frequency illusion.

It is a cognitive bias in which a person notices a specific concept, object, or word more frequently after recently becoming aware of it, leading to the false impression that it is occurring more often than it actually is.

I broke my arm a few years ago and time I went out I Notices someone with a injured arm.

I also notice 115 a lot these days.
All my life and I never knew there was an actual name for that lol. I recently bought a car and since I’ve had it seems like everyone on the planet also has the same car

They’ll pin something on us even tho they have fuck all. With this probability bollocks they’re on about. Relegate us. The red shirts and media will wank themselves into oblivion! We’ll appeal it. Relegation will be suspended while we appeal and it will drag on for even more years and years. Exactly what it was designed to do! Just my opinion of course, but I really could see it happening. They just want to cause as much damage to us as possible and drag it on for years. Beat the arse on Sunday and it’ll all get ramps up a few notches

Were they talking about a team that had benefitted from year after year of hundreds of millions of illegal interest free shareholder loans by any chance?
Or perhaps it was because the EPL were happy to treat the gift of a training ground a few days after their precious owner had sold the club as not being by an associated party.

I do wonder whether the reason Pep hasn't been clear on his future is the lack of any decision on this. He was here when it kicked off, his accomplishments have been continually questioned, so he feels he'll stay until it's resolved.

Once we're cleared, he can exit the game and then lay into the questionable refereeing decisions and tantrums of the competition without fear of being sanctioned and hurting the team.

I still don't for a second believe there's adequate evidence to suggest the scale of deception alleged has happened. They had a duty to investigate, sure, but to charge? Based on what? Leaked emails, lack of cooperation and pressure from time limitations, reviewing a case where, reported the same evidence, was thrown out by an independent panel at CAS amd strongly reprimanded for ever coming to that.

Don't buy into the latest buzz video, blues. It's wishes and illogical hope from rivals, no coincidence it resurfaces when we're doing well. We're not getting relegated. We're not getting a points deduction. We are however, very clickable, on this subject in particular.

Can someone tell me how a club can sell hotels to itself, sell its women’s team to itself, put all its players on ludicrously long contracts, yet still make a one billion pounds! loss over 2 years and still escape sanction? Yet we do fuck all wrong apart from some forged emails 10 years ago and get all these charges and all this media shit? Absolute fucking madness

UEFA have sanctioned them; their rules do not permit intra club sales to count as income. PL have now changed their rule.

Can understand that, I’ve seen family and friends who’ve sadly passed away but regularly appear in everyday life until I realise it’s impossible. Any physical trait of a deceased person and my brain tricks me into thinking that’s someone I know, strange, is it just me?

What about a billion pounds loss in 2 years when pl rules only allow £105m in 3?
That's the group loss is it not? Similar to our CFG.

Edit: "Chelsea have announced the biggest pre-tax loss in Premier League history.

The £262m deficit for 2024-25 eclipses the £197.5m lost by Manchester City in 2011."

No, it's not just you. I suspect we all get caught out by that. Like a random stab of sadness, isn't it?

Because as it stands Chelsea aren’t a threat to the teams whose nose has been put out of joint by us ..
