Guess when we went. Came out of our hotel on the first night at 8:30pm to go and eat and a thermometer on the wall outside a chemist was showing 93 degrees 8-)Thanks. Yes, we got lucky with the weather. But I’d never travel to Seville in summer anyway.
Bring plenty of money. The prices in albufeira are extortionate. 4-6.50 euros a pint, 14 euros for a gin and tonic. For a couple you need £200 a day for 2 meals a day and 6 drinks each.Is this a genuine concern? I was hoping to book 10 nights in Portugal for the start of June later tonight.
I need to look into whether Jet2 etc would refund should this be the case.
Hopefully staying 10-15 mins down the road. Chilled all inc with the kids but will bring a few quid tooBring plenty of money. The prices in albufeira are extortionate. 4-6.50 euros a pint, 14 euros for a gin and tonic. For a couple you need £200 a day for 2 meals a day and 6 drinks each.
Used to be cheap 2 years ago!
Anyone worried about the fuel issues maybe for June?
I think the problems will begin in May. We’ve got a holiday to Canada on 19th May but I’m only 50% confident it will go ahead.Anyone worried about the fuel issues maybe for June?
went twice last year lovely beach and found the locals quite friendlyCape Verde, Sal for a week on Saturday and can not wait!
Supposed to fly to Portgual 1st June, fingers crossedAnyone worried about the fuel issues maybe for June?
I’d ask for a refund, many companies might not survive this and go bust so vouchers will be worthless, plus if they do comeback they will cost a fortune, they all bumped up the price after Covid to recover costs and they’ll do the same, plus they’ve never come back down the greedy bastards, holidays are getting out of reach for mist families now.Looks like vouchers for anyone with a holiday if this isn’t resolved me included shit.
Depends what you mean by "after Covid". When we went to Valencia in October 2021, we got a bargain ~ £200 on Ryanair for the four of us. Ferran Torres obviously thought the same because he was on that flight :)I’d ask for a refund, many companies might not survive this and go bust so vouchers will be worthless, plus if they do comeback they will cost a fortune, they all bumped up the price after Covid to recover costs and they’ll do the same, plus they’ve never come back down the greedy bastards, holidays are getting out of reach for mist families now.
A lot of that was fear going and maybe getting stranded there and people not taking the vaccine or having to jump through hoops, after it all calmed down holidays we found had jumped considerably a £3k holiday was nearer £4k.Depends what you mean by "after Covid".
