Keir Starmer

I’m struggling to think of any non-politician who has had more impact on political events than that **** - and from beyond the grave as well. He’s created absolute fucking mayhem.
Think Mandy is a scheming, sly snake.
He will know secrets about everyone in the Labour hierarchy - for several decades.
Interesting on the ITV early programme today, that Ed Balls and Ed Miliband were wincing, almost cringing, when mentioning Mandelson.
He probably has "dirt" on them both...

Worth reposting.

Sums up the state of British politics when people are arguing about who is the biggest liar Starmer or Johnson. Let's be honest, when you look at the list since Tony Blair, only David Cameron bears a semblance to a proper PM and he made one of the worst decisions in recent memory to let the public vote on Brexit. The fact that the major parties are full of absolute weapons is the reason crank parties like Reform & Green are being talked about.
I agree with the comment about Cameron, while i didnt like him he was better than what followed.
That said he did put his dick in a dead pigs head so hardly a high bar.

More and more we seem to be operating politically in an era of "not being" being used as a supposed attribute:

Labours original pitch - vote for us as we are not those slimy twat Tories you have endured for 14 years
Reform - pitching themselves as worthy of your vote as they are not Kier Starmer.
The Greens - vote for us as we are not racist Reform or useless Labour.

Far more emphasis on who/what they are not rather than what they genuinely actually are.

It’s obvious that Starmer is just a figure head, a puppet, doing what he is advised in a desperate attempt to keep the left out of power. What a disgraceful way to run a government. The powers that be still the Blairites directing things from the wings, terrified that the real Labour Party surface and gain a resemblance of power.

And he scrapped our sub hunting capability just in time for the Russians to start using their subs to look for cables to sabotage. If that wasn’t an indication that we were lowering our guard I don’t know what was. Since then we’ve had Ukraine and Salisbury.

This is the most frightening aspect to the "Starmer must go" feeding frenzy - who/where is the alternative?

I just cannot see anyone who would be any better - but many who would probably be a lot worse.

When this forum was demanding the heads of every leader or minister under the Tories, rightly so might I add, not once did I hear this “but who replaces them” line.

Who cares if the incumbent is an utter clown and has been caught red handed?

Why the sudden reluctance to get rid?

You don't think Cameron's/Osbourne's austerity is partly to blame for the state of things today, including the emrgence of the far right and its gullible base?

Someone who isn't a puppet for Labour Together (and dare I say Israel) someone with actual principles, beliefs and compassion would be a start and a change.

David Cameron is a text book case of upper class arrogance causing absolute mayhem. He fucked this country.

It's a chance to rid the party of the Mandelson poison and maybe push the party away from their aspirations of being a US democratic party model of letting lobbyists prioritise policy/laws over the members that created the party.
