Keir Starmer

So you accept that the decline is real and pretty much unavoidable and your only problem is 'accelerationism' ... and incompetent managers.

Yet ...

Maybe this is the ideological lunacy that needs to ousted to the fringes.
I don’t think anyone is denying the decline.

I don’t have a problem, I’ve given up. I am just keeping my head down and trying to avoid the news as much as possible from now on.

If you think putting Zack Polanski in charge is going to somehow turn things around then I genuinely pity you.

I'm not the one believing in false prophets here ...

The only hope we’ve got long term, as an entire nation, is if we go cap in hand to the EU begging for our full membership back, once the whole thing goes completely tits up.

Not keen on Starmer getting closer to the EU?

What would you suggest when the decline gets so intolerable?

He's Safe.

His supporters are manning the barricades and already preparing the lines of defence. Rayner's clique are too busy scouring ways of getting Burnham in before launching a coup.

So it ain't happening. Labour MPs are handing over power to ConForm at the next GE willingly.

I’m not really seeing anyone that desperate to oust him outside the press. This thread isn’t exactly buzzing, no one I know is talking about it. The press keep trying to make it happen but I think most people are more concerned about Iran/fuel prices right now and Starmer’s seen as handling that well.

I dunno the general consensus was if he was going to be binned it was always going to be after the locals.

Meanwhile the anonymous briefings of 'secret' meetings keep coming.

Even before they won the loveless landslide I was always of the opinion that he wouldn't see out a full term. Matter of when not if.

None of them dare because they'll be treated like party members who dare question him and are booted out of the party.

Plenty of Blair foundation kids in the PLP now happy to take their place and follow the leader devoutly

My opinion on sir Kerr is he trying to do a very hard job despite the muck being chucked at him . Including them on his back bench.

I’ve always been a Labour voter but if push come to shove In my area I would happily tactically vote Greens to keep the Facist Reform uk out ,Don’t think it would come to that in Rochdale but I willing to do it

Most of the criticism of Starmer on here gets batted away with "yeah, but so and so was worse". I don't blame people for not bothering.

God bless the plucky hero, we really don't deserve him.

Got to love how being the PM is suddenly an eye opening very hard job despite all the shit thrown at you lol

Even funnier is the refusal to accept much of it is self induced.

Many people claim that but nothing seems
To stick self induced or not
