What i just dont understand is Farage is at the top of the polling but this is the man who crippled the country through Brexit. The country is currently loosing approximately 150- 200 billion pounds per year since we left the EU.
If he becomes the next prime minister the only people who will benefit will be himself & the very rich.
What's even more baffling is hearing traditional Labour voters saying something along the lines of ' well, we need change, so I voted reform.'
Yes, they are going to get change if they vote them into power, but not in the way they might be expecting.
Reform are, as you say, a party of the rich for the rich, and they've voted in parliament against the increase in state pension, the increase in the minimum wage, the employment rights bill, the rent reform act, and the increase in pay for public servants.
They have said in public they want to introduce an insurance based healthcare system, remove our human rights, take control of the police and judiciary, and romove 'red tape' from business.
The red tape they refer to are our employment, consumer and environmental rights, and the removal of separation between the executive and the judiciary is nothing less than fascism.
They have stated repeatedly they want a small state economy, and getting rid of unnecessary spending in wasteful areas like welfare and mental health support is an absolute priority for them.
They want concentration camps for people they don't like, and have plans to rewrite history lessons for our school children.
And while the press carry on about a party poitical leader not paying a few quid of council tax, the 'man of the people' Farage, has received a £5m gift he chose not to declare to the standards committee because in his words, it wasn't necessary, despite the fact it's the standards committe that require all the financial details of MP's before deciding what needs to be be declared in the public interest.
He bought a house in Clacton not long ago. He said he bought it, then the questions began. He changed his message and said his partner bought it. Then he said his partners parents bought it. Nothing adds up, and why lie about it? Nothing to do with the £27m his limited company has received over the years from his crypto currency owning friend in Thialand I suppose. It's not for any influence, of course. Nige has said it isn't, so it must be true.
He's nowt but a grifter. He did sod all as an MEP other than falsely claim expenses and pick up his salary and he''s doing the same as an MP. He so rarely goes to clacton, he organises a phote shoot when he goes there just to prove he can. He said he didn't want to spend his Friday nights in the town, which is much tne same as every other day of the week he isn't there.
The whole leadership of reform are rotten to the core. Zia Yusuf inflated the worth of his business before selling it. Richard Tice set up no end of shell companies to avoid paying tax, and dear old Nige gets prickly very quickly when asked pertinent questions.
Free market capitalists with links to no end of like ninded people and press barons all wanting to pay less tax in support of neo liberal policies, and a few pictures of farage standing in a pub with a pint and fag in hand is enough to convince many he's 'one of us'.
I despair.
