PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

Just had a Bolton fan who said his brother is an ex copper and was invited to the co-op after show and he reckons we’re getting fucked and that’s why peps left I just laughed.
 
Really hope this news drops before the news of a new manager, if not then it's baggage for whoever is coming in.
Like pep, the new boss will have had absolutely nothing to do with these accusations but you can be sure the bellends in the press will be rinse and repeat 115 charges.

Yep or just make a scenario to them! Say you were accused of something very seriously you 100% are innocent but for 3 years there are mentioned of it at your work with your friends the press reporting on the case constantly, you think the some or most of the people who you work for some of the people in your town won’t think yep that’s him he did this, people not speaking to him murmurs around him!

Now say how would you feel!!?

To be fair you would have to go a long way to find any pro City media comments.
My education has been restricted to this Forum others have had a 115 drip feed of anti City propaganda so even City fans I know have been infected.

I just don’t know why people post that some random fan has made a comment about our case. My dog barking at next door’s cat has about the same relevance.

I see a lot of comments on LinkedIn that I have to bite my lip at. Our “cheating” or “human rights abusing owners” get referenced a lot, even when it’s not relevant to the poster’s point. Such as yesterday a Sunderland fan saying Le Bris should get MotS for getting them seventh (which is fair) but then dropped in the human rights owner angle.

Yes, the obvious anti City media campaign has been effective.

It wouldn't be the first time the police were trying to ruin someone that was innocent....

The reputational damage is incalculable.
 
I kept thinking the club were expecting the decision in our favour and then to go nuclear with the Etihad renewal.. neither have happened still sadly. I don't know if it's even the right time for the latter with conflict in the UAE

Ah yes, Pep is going because we are getting fucked over. There’s been over 3 years prior to that when he could have gone but didn’t.

Pep is going because his marriage broke down with his mrs who moved back to Barcelona and didn’t want him to sign that two year extension. She was back at the game on Sunday so hopefully for both her and Pep they can sort things out with Pep taking leave from football for a while.

Amazing how Pep is somehow associated with the 115 but Arteta and particularly Berada get a free pass. Just shows the hypocrisy.
